Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena Location Guide – Become Champion of the Arena, Tips

Our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena Location Guide will help you locate the Arena and give you some useful tips to aid you in defeating the Arena Champions.

As Russell Crowe’s character asks, “Are you not entertained?” Well, you certainly will not be if you do not manage to find Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena.

It is too good to be missed or overlooked. On top of it, there is a Trophy/Achievement titled after the iconic piece of dialogue from Gladiator. Our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Guide details everything about finding the Arena and challenges that await you.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Arena

First things first, owing to the Bounty Hunter System of the game, whereby mercenaries can hunt you down or you could do the same if a bounty is on their head; you can ultimately get an invitation to the Arena.

This happens after you have successfully hunted down a few bounties – a few mercenaries. Consequently, a quest They Just Want Cruelty is triggered which tasks you with finding the Arena without making its location known.

That is where we come in to guide you towards your destination.

The Arena is located on an island, the Phepka region on the extreme southeast edge of the map. The Arena itself can be found near the eastern coastline of the Phepka.

Arena Fighters
Firstly, you should know that the fighters here would range from 25-50 level so this is not exactly a cakewalk. Gear up and level up your equipment, skills, and weapons before heading into the fight.

From the gatekeeper, you can choose from 5 champions to challenge and defeating each one of them earn you some powerful gear as a reward. Upon defeating all five of these warriors, you also earn the Achievement/Trophy.

  • Evanthe, the Huntress – Level 36
  • Titos, the Rock of Athens – Level 43
  • Belos, the Beast of Sparta – Level 29
  • Skoura, Head of the Arena – Level 50
  • Vasilis, the King of the Arena – Level 50
  • Klaudios, King of the Bandits – Level 22

Make use of the spikes around the battlefield and your Sparta Kick for the best results. Some other useful abilities include the Shield-Breaker and Second Wind.

Klaudios, The King of Bandits
Make sure that you avoid the spiked pillars that rise up out of the ground. Alternatively, you can try and get your opponents into the pillar in order to deal damage to them this way.

The waves get harder and harder so you need to watch out for the poisonous attacks later on in the fight.

The king of bandits will use a lot of sneaky tactics such as smoke bombs which can be countered by the targeting reticule on your bow. Avoid his attacks since they cause poison and watch out for the dashes while you slowly take him down.

Belos, The Beast of Sparta
There are small fire pits in the Arena which you can use to light your arrows on fire to give enemies hit a burning status. The beast also has a shield charge which you need to watch out for as it does a lot of damage.

Keep on lighting your weapons on fire so as to deal consistent damage and burning effect. Once you kill the Beast, you will be able to get the credit for killing a Cultist as well.

Evanthe, The Huntress
Use the covers that are given to you and you will be able to avoid attacks. Do not let the wolves get near you or they will maul you to death.

Keep on defeating the minions until you see the actual fighter. At that point, you can continue to use the barricades as cover while you deal damage with your arrows.

Titos, The Rock of Athens
There are fiery pillars in the arena for this part of the battle. There is also a massive firepit which you can use. Take care of the minions until you see Titos and then avoid his dashes as well as his arrows.

You need to be very adept at dodging against Titos or the fight will be very hard for you. Use your heavy attacks to bypass his shield since parrying him will be very difficult. Defeating him will earn you a legendary item as well as a cultist clue.

Vasilis, King of the Arena
For this battle, there are perimeter spikes, pillars, and fire. The waves that you face of enemies will be incredibly tough and you will need to be vigilant at all times in order to deal with them.

Use the death pits as much as possible to take care of them. The hero himself is able to leap to you and uses a sword and a shield.

Use your own status effects and make sure you keep on attacking him even when he uses his potion to get some of his health back. Do not let him heal completely or the battle will become tougher than it already is.

Skoura, Hero of the Arena
This time, there is just you and Skoura. Make sure you are ready for a long fight as Skoura has a lot of attacks and tricks up his sleeve. Avoid his spears and knockbacks while you slowly take him down and get his spear as a reward.

Be resilient and patient; understand the enemy’s movement patterns and you will come out victorious.
