Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Engravings allow you to boost the stats of your equipment; be it apparel, gear, or your weapons. You can purchase them, find them, or unlock them in the game. Below we take a look at how AC: Odyssey Engravings affect the stats and how you can obtain these.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Engravings

There are multiple ways of unlocking Engravings that you can apply to weapon or armor depending on the nature of the Engraving itself. The most convenient way would be to simply purchase them from the Blacksmith but the options there would be limited.

The Rare Engravings need to be unlocked. You can do this by completing various tasks and challenges that require you to kill a certain number of enemies, explore certain areas, and reach other milestones. The harder the objective the more Epic Engraving will be in its nature of rarity. Below you can find a list of all the Engravings you can obtain or unlock and how you can go about doing:

All Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs
2 Levels of Engraving, one at killing a single Leader. The second Level is obtainable after killing 10 Leaders.

Hunter Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs
3 Levels of Engraving, one at reaching Player Level 2, the other at 12 and the last one at 22.

Assassin Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs
3 Levels of Engraving, one at reaching Player Level 3, the other at 13 and the last one at 23.

Warrior Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Waist, Legs
3 Levels of Engraving, one on reaching Player Level 4, other on 14, and the last one on 24.

Critical Hit Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Head, Torso, Arms
2 Levels of Engraving, one upon reaching Player Level 11 and the other on Level 21.

Overpower Abilities
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows, Arms, Waist
Complete a particular Anigmata Ostraka.

Poison Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bow, Torso, and Waist.
Two Levels of Engravings, one upon reaching Level 8 and the other on 18.

Extra Damage on Animals
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Torso and Legs
Three Levels on Engravings, one upon killing 25 Predatory animals the other on 50 kills and the last one when you managed to kill 100 predators.

Extra Damage on Athenian Soldiers
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Head and Legs
This Engraving is unlocked after eliminating 10 Athenian Marksman.

Extra Damage on Spartan Soldiers
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Head and Legs
Engraving unlocked after eliminating 10 Spartan Strategoi.

Fire Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Bows and Legs
3 Levels of Engraving, one on reaching Player Level 7, the second on 17 and finally upon reaching Level 27.

Increased Adrenaline on Each Hit
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons, Arm and Waist
You get this upon the completion of Ainigmata Ostraka Ashes to Ashes.

Critical Hit Chance
Weapons/Armor: Bows, Arms and Waist
Two Levels of Engraving, one on reaching Player Level 10 and the other on Level 20.

Charged Bow Shot Increased Damage
Weapons/Armor: Bows, Torso, and Legs
Engraving received upon elimination of 25 Archers.

Charged Bow Increased Speed
Weapons/Armor: Bow, Torso, and Legs.
You need to perform 10 repetitions of 3 enemy kills within 30 seconds using the bow, to unlock this particular Engraving.

Charged Bow Increased Accuracy from Distance
Weapons/Armor: Bows, Head and Waist
Engraving received upon elimination of 25 enemies from far away, using the bow.

Health
Weapons/Armor: Arms, Torso, and Waist
Three Levels of Engravings, one upon reaching Player Level 5, the other on 15 and finally upon reaching Level 25.

Armor
Weapons/Armor: Arms, Torso, and Waist
Three Levels of Engravings, one upon reaching Player Level 6, the second on 16 and the last one on Level 26.

Critical Damage Increased on Max Health
Weapons/Armor: Arms, Waist, and Legs
Engraving received upon completion of Ainigmata Ostraka Bottomless Lake.

Critical Damage Increased on Low Health
Weapons/Armor: Arms, Waist, and Legs
Engraving received upon completion of a particular Ainigmata Ostraka.

Increased Elemental Damage

Cause some damage about 200 times.

Increased Elemental Resistance

Heavy Blunt Weapon Damage

2 Levels of Engraving, one on the elimination of 50 enemies with a heavy blunt weapon, the other on killing 100 enemies in total using the same weapon type.

Spears Damage
Weapons/Armor: Melee Weapons and Legs
2 Levels of Engraving, one on the elimination of 50 enemies with a Spear, the other on killing 100 enemies in total using the same weapon type.

Staves Damage

Two Levels of Engraving, one on the elimination of 50 Enemies using a Staff, the other on killing a hundred enemies with it.

Increased Adrenaline on a Critical Strike

Two Levels of Engraving, one on the elimination of a single mercenary, and the other on killing 10 of this enemy type.

Increased Adrenaline on Headshot Kill

Upon performing 50 eliminations only via Headshots.

2 Levels of Engraving, one upon reaching Level 9, the other on 19.

Critical Hit Chance at Max Health
