Blizzard Entertainment has announced that tomorrow Overwatch will be down for maintenance, so if you plan to play the game tomorrow you might run into some issues.

The developer did not reveal specifically what the maintenance would be for but it won’t be for long. Overwatch will undergo maintenance On November 29, 2016 from 7 AM PT to 9 AM PT. The developer also noted the during the maintenance logging in could be slow or might fail entirely.

While the devs have not revealed what the maintenance is for, it seems that there are a few things that require it. A Christmas-themed event is rumored to take place next month along with Competitive Play season 3 and a reworked Symmetra.

The rumor for the Christmas-themed event for Overwatch comes from a number of new vocal lines between Sombra and a number of other characters have been data mined. Also, new lines between pre-existing characters in the game have also been uncovered.

However, there are still 150 different sound files to uncover, that might present a clearer picture as they are revealed.

Recently, Lead Writer Michael Chu assured fans that the creative team has not forgotten about the inclusion of LGBT characters to the game’s roster.

We definitely haven’t forgotten about what we said. Like we said, it’s very important for us to have diversity and inclusiveness of all types and that includes LGBT characters. There are definitely LGBT heroes – that’s multiple heroes – it’s a decision that we make when we’re developing these characters early on.

He further added that he does not want the stories for these characters to just feel romantic, but the devs are trying to make familial relationships and stuff like that.

Overwatch is a first-person multiplayer shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
