How To Get Cinquedea Dagger In Elden Ring

A short sword given to high clergymen of Farum Azula, the Cinquedea Dagger in Elden Ring represents the five fingers of a beast. This sword is known for enhancing the Bestial incantations and was thrown away by its rightful owner, Gurranq.

Cinquedea is the most difficult item to acquire in Elden Ring. Most players won’t be able to reach it by themselves. Let us help you acquire it and craft an amazing Strength/Faith build around it.

Cinquedea Dagger Location in Elden Ring

Cinquedea Dagger in Elden Ring can be obtained from the Dragonbarrow Region of Caelid. This dagger is hidden behind the Bestial Sanctum and requires some serious platforming.

To reach the Bestial Sanctum early, travel to the Summonwater Village in Limgrave. Talk to D, the hunter, and start his quest.

Go to the roundtable, Hold, and progress D’s quest. From there, fast travel to the Third Church of Marika near the Northeastern border of Limgrave, right next to Caelid.

Talk to D there and locate the teleporter behind the church. Use it to go to the Bestial Sanctum on Dragonbarrow.

Go outside of the Bestial Sanctum and hug the right wall. Summon Torrent, as you must make double jumps downwards.

Go near the ledge marked on the map above and look down to notice a tree trunk above a building. Carefully drop on the trunk. Go to the left corner and carefully drop down to the next trunk below.

Go to the edge of the trunk and drop onto the dome of the building below. Drop to the location that resembles the graveyard of the Crumbling Farum Azula.

Go to the first left pillar and travel around it to find a small connecting bridge. From the next pillar, look below and carefully drop down further.

Turn around and summon the torrent to go further below. This is a large drop, and you will lose a chunk of health here.

Kill the bat and drop down from where the Sanctuary Stone is. Use the pillars to drop down further to reach the next graveyard. Keep going left until you reach a small rooftop with a corpse.

Cinquedea Dagger Stats and Requirements

Cinquedea Dagger is a Dexterity/Strength weapon that requires 10 Dexterity and 10 Strength. It has D scaling with Strength and E scaling with Dexterity.

The unique weapon skill for this dagger is Quickstep, which costs 3 FP. It can’t be infused with any Ash of War. You also can’t apply any magic or grease to this dagger either.

Cinquedea Dagger in Elden Ring can be upgraded up to +10 with the help of Somber Smithing Stones. It does 98 Physical damage at its base level, which can be upgraded to 240 at the highest level.

This dagger stacks with Clawmark Seal and boosts the Bestial Incantations by an additional 10%. It weighs 3.5 and can be sold for 500 Runes to any merchant in the game. However, we don’t recommend it as it can only be obtained once per playthrough.

Best Build for Cinquedea Dagger

For this build, we will be using a fully upgraded Cinquedea Dagger alongside a fully upgraded Clawmark Seal to cast the following incantations.

As this is an endgame build with a level 180 character, distribute your stat points as follows.

Vigor: 60
Strength: 70
Dexterity: 50

Faith: 70

Equip the following Talismans to make this Cinquedea build even stronger in Elden Ring.

Flock’s Canvas Talisman. Raises the potency of incantations by 8%.
Shard of Alexander. Increases the power of the skill by 15%.
Ancestral Spirit’s Horn. Defeating enemies restores FP.
Radagon Icon. Reduces the time to cast spells.

Mix the following crystal tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

Stonebarb Cracked Tear. Allows you to break the stance of enemies easily.
Cerulean Hidden Tear. Removes all FP consumption for a limited time.

Equip and activate Rykard’s Great Rune to restore HP upon defeating enemies. With this build, you can absolutely pummel your enemies to death with Bestial Incantations.

As this Cinquedea Dagger build in Elden Ring lacks defense, you must rely on your weapon skill to evade incoming attacks. With proper control and knowledge of your opponents’ attack patterns, you can absolutely dominate both PvP and PvE with this build.
