Batman Arkham Origins is the prequel: a younger Batman, a Gotham buried in snow, and a 50 million dollar bounty from Black Mask that draws eight assassins to the city on Christmas Eve. Our coverage follows the shape of that night. There are boss guides for the contract killers and the Most Wanted villains who get in the way, collectible guides for everything Enigma, Anarky and Cyrus Pinkney left around Gotham, gadget and suit pages, a walkthrough for the Mad Hatter's Wonderland, and help for the hardest mode and the PC port.

The other Most Wanted
- Anarky: three timed bombs to disarm, the courthouse fight that follows, and 24 invisible Anarky Tags worth 120,000 XP.
- The Mad Hatter: our walkthrough guide covers the whole Wonderland sequence, with the mission walkthrough and door puzzle solutions as the detailed pages.
- Penguin: no fight, just six arms caches to find and destroy with the Disruptor.
- Enigma: seven GCR Comms Towers to restore for fast travel and 200 Enigma Datapacks in 20 Extortion Files.
- Cyrus Pinkney: eight plaques that solve an 1855 murder, gathered with the tags under Gotham Intel.
Collectibles
The collectibles guide totals everything in one table, then goes district by district through Park Row, The Bowery, Amusement Mile, the Industrial District, the bridge, Coventry, the Diamond District and Burnley, listing the Extortion Files, tower password, plaques, caches and bombs in each. It also suggests an order that avoids backtracking, starting with the towers and leaving the Datapacks until every gadget is unlocked.
Gadgets and suits
The gadgets page separates the tools you start with from the ones the story hands over, with quick-fire inputs and upgrades for each, from the Concussion Detonator at Lacey Towers to the Reverse Batarang the Mad Hatter leaves behind. The costumes page lists the suits earned by finishing the campaign, the challenges and the Most Wanted missions, the DLC packs, and how to change outfits at the Batcave.
Harder runs and PC problems
I Am the Night asks you to beat New Game Plus without dying once, which means finishing the game three times in all; our page has the checkpoint trick that softens the permadeath, the boss advice for Deathstroke and Bane, and the Worst Nightmare skin at the end. On PC, the troubleshooting page collects fixes for crashes, missing sound, black screens and lost saves, plus config edits to remove the FPS cap, change the field of view and skip the intro movies.
Frequently asked questions
How many assassins are in Arkham Origins?
Eight: Killer Croc, Deathstroke, Copperhead, Bane, Firefly, Electrocutioner, Deadshot and Lady Shiva. Capturing all of them earns the Innocent and Predatory achievement.
Is the Mad Hatter a real boss fight?
Not in the usual sense. After you escape Wonderland he goes down to a single Reverse Batarang, so the challenge is the puzzles and the platforming on the way there.
How do I unlock fast travel?
Restore a district's GCR Comms Tower. Two are restored during the story and the other five are up to you; each one lets you call the Batwing to that district.
