How To Get Aspect Of Mending Stone In Diablo 4
The Aspect of Mending Stone is a Druid-only legendary aspect in Diablo 4 that keeps your Earthen Bulwark up for longer. Our best Druid aspects page calls it the strongest defensive pick the class has, and the full aspect list files it under the Defensive category.
Two things happen once it is imprinted. Earthen Bulwark, the stone shell from the Defensive branch of the Druid skill tree, lasts six seconds longer, and every kill you land with an Earth skill tops the barrier back up while it is active. Both effects come from the aspect itself, so the build does not need a particular weapon or unique to switch them on.

The Codex of Power copy comes from the Sealed Archives, a dungeon on the southern side of the Dry Steppes. Our walkthrough calls it one of the largest dungeons in the game, a maze of corridors that takes real time to clear. You kill the Decayed Keymaster for the Rotten Key, empty the Archives of Resentment, cross into the Restricted Archive and finish against the Tomb Lord. The first clear pays 30 Renown along with the aspect.
Once the dungeon is done the aspect sits in your Codex of Power for good, and the Occultist can imprint it onto an eligible piece for gold whenever you need it. If you would rather skip the Sealed Archives, the aspect can also turn up on dropped legendaries, and gambling Murmuring Obols at the Purveyor of Curiosities hands you unidentified gear to extract from. Extraction destroys the item it came on, so the Codex route is the one that never runs out.

Any Druid that presses Earthen Bulwark on cooldown gets value from it. Our Nature's Fury Summoner Druid lists it among its aspects because that build chains Earth and Storm skills off the key passive, so the shell is refreshed by kills the rotation produces anyway. The Werewolf Tornado Storm Druid takes it for a similar reason, leaning on the longer Bulwark to cover the stretches when Grizzly Rage is down.
The Druid aspects page recommends it twice, once among the general defensive picks and again for Pulverize Werebear setups, where it sits beside the Aspect of Quicksand and the Aspect of the Ursine Horror. Run it with Quicksand if your build leans on Earth skills, since the same casts that slow enemies are the ones that refill the shell.
