A weapon specific for the fire knights, the Fire Knight’s Greatsword is a new addition to Elden Ring with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. A slender blade that undulates like fire, it is blessed with fire incantations by Messmer.
Greatswords in Elden Ring are difficult to carry and even more difficult to use. For this reason, they are mostly paired with Strength or Dexterity builds.
However, in this guide, we will tell you how to farm the Fire Knight’s Greatsword successfully and how you can use it to craft an amazing Faith build in Elden Ring with astronomical AR.
Fire Knight’s Greatsword Location in Elden Ring

Fire Knight’s Greatsword is a lucky drop from the Fire Knights in the Shadow Keep dungeon. This dungeon is compulsory and can be found in the central area of Scadu Altus.
The best way to find this greatsword is by using the Specimen Storehouse site of grace. You can follow our guide to learn how to reach this location safely.
From the site of grace, turn around and use the elevator to go down. You will notice an extremely strong Fire Knight enemy in this area with the Fire Knight’s Greatsword.

Farm this enemy again and again. You can use the Blasphemous Blade’s weapon skill to kill this Fire Knight from afar. As the drop rate for the Fire Knight’s Greatsword is very low (around 4%), we recommend that you use Silver Pickled Fowl Foot to increase your discovery.

You can also invest in Arcane stat to increase your Discovery stat. Certain gear items like Silver Scarab, Silver Tear Mask, Albinauric’s Mask, or Godrick’s Great Rune to further increase your Discovery. This will make it easier for the Fire Knight to drop the Fire Knight’s Greatsword.
