How To Get Edgemaster's Aspect In Diablo 4

Edgemaster's Aspect is one of the Offensive legendary aspects in Diablo 4 that every class can wear. It reads the Primary Resource you are holding, whether that is Fury, Spirit, Essence, Energy or Mana, and raises the damage of your skills in step with how full the pool is, reaching 20 percent at the cap. Our Oldstones walkthrough calls it the best damage aspect in the game, and twelve of our forty build guides slot it.

The scaling is the whole trick. A build that generates its resource faster than it spends it sits near full for most of a fight and keeps the bonus, which is why our Barbarian aspects page pairs it with Fury generation, and why resource-hungry Sorcerer and Rogue builds reach for it as well.

Edgemaster's Aspect location in Diablo 4

Clearing the Oldstones dungeon in Scosglen is what writes it into your Codex; the dungeon is reached by heading west from the Under the Fat Goose Inn waypoint. The layout is open, which our guide says leaves room to dodge the goatmen and beasts inside. You bring the Stone Carving to its pedestal, collect Animus from the Animus Carriers, then defeat the Khazra Abomination. That first run also hands over 30 Renown, and the dungeon stays worth running later for Nightmare Sigils.

After that first clear the aspect lives in your Codex of Power and can be imprinted at the Occultist as often as you like. It can also appear on dropped legendaries and be extracted there, but extraction eats the item, so the Codex copy is the one you cannot lose.

Barbarians lead the list. The Hammer of the Ancients Barbarian puts it on the two-handed bludgeoning weapon, and the Whirlwind, Death Blow, Double Swing and Thorns Bleed builds all carry it, the Double Swing guide noting that its steady Fury generation is what makes the aspect worth the slot.

On the Sorcerer side the Conjuration, Firewall and Frost builds take it, with the Firewall guide slotting it into the amulet. The Death Trap, Poison Trap and Rapid Fire Barrage Rogues use it off a full Energy bar, and the Werewolf Tornado Storm Druid is the one Druid build in our list that makes room for it.
