Ark Scorched Earth Alpha Lymantria Location and Taming

Lymantria are moth-like creatures that are a perfect choice for flying through confined space and farming silk in Ark Scorched Earth. Getting this creature is simple, all you need is a tent, preferred equipment to knock it out, and food to tame it.

Luckily, Lymantrias are found all over the map in Ark Scorched Earth, and this guide covers their most common spawning locations along with the taming strategy and breeding tips.

How to Tame Lymantria?

Once you locate a Lymantria, wait for it to land on the ground and place a tent over it. After the creature is trapped, knock it out using a boomerang, club, long-neck rifle, bow, or crossbow.

If you’re using a crossbow, be careful as it intends to do more damage, so when the Lymantria starts to get too bloody, switch your weapon to boomerang.

After the creature is down, place Mejoberries into its inventory to initiate taming. Wait for some time, and your Lymantria will be completely tamed.
