Geralt is a Witcher which makes crafting and alchemy his primary areas of expertise but to do craft items, he requires certain crafting diagrams, components, potions, bombs, armor and weapons.

Armor of Ys
Location. You can find this magical crafting diagram in a chest in Loc Muinne (Sewers) and sell it.

Biter
Location. You can purchase this crafting diagram from Cedric in Lobinden. Or from Lasota in Kaedweni or from Earso in Loc Muinne.

Blue Meteorite Ore
Location. You can buy it from Berthold Candeleria, Lasota(Kaedweni Camp) in Lobinden. Or from Earso in Loc Muinne or from Haggard in Vergen.

Caerme
Location. Bras of Ban Ard will give you this item at the end of An Encrypted Manuscript quest in Loc Muinne.

Blue Meteorite Silver Sword
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram.

Clawer
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram that you can sell for 6 Orens. You can find it on scribe’s corpse in executioner’s room in The La Valettes’ Dungeons (Prologue). or you can buy it from Cedric in Lobinden (Tree Landing). It will be also given to you by Sendler in Lobinden – if you beat him at dice poker and choose the steel jaws trap design. You can also buy it from Lasota in Kaedweni Camp or from Earso in Loc Muinne.

Conflagration
Location. You can buy it from Berthold Candeleria, Lasota(Kaedweni Camp) in Lobinden for 6 Orens. You can buy it Cedric in Lobinden (Tree Landing) or you can get it from Sendler in Lobinden – if you beat him at dice poker and choose the steel jaws trap design. You can also buy it from Lasota in Kaedweni Camp or loot Serrit’s corpse in Kaedwen Battlefield (Kingslayer Hideout) to get. Or if you can’t do all that, you can purchase it from Earso in Loc Muinne.

Diamond Armor Reinforcements
Location. You can buy it from Berthold Candeleria, Lasota(Kaedweni Camp) in Lobinden. Or you can purchase it from Sendler in Lobinden or buy it from Lasota in Kaedweni CampHaggard in Vergen. It can also be purchased from Mael in Vergen.

Diamond Dust
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram. You can buy it from Sendler in Lobinden. Or in Flotsam,purchase it from the Mysterious Merchant if you’ve installed the Mysterious Merchant DLC or from Fioravanti. In Kaedweni Camp, you can purchase it from Lasota, Master Myron, Sambor or from the Mysterious Merchant.

You can also buy it from Felicia Cori in Loc Muinne and Vergen or you can kill succubus’ and loot her corpse in hidden bedroom. For that you will have to side with Ele’yas during With Flickering Heart quest in Vergen (Burned Village). Finally, you can purchase it from Incredible Lockhart in Loc Muinne.

Draug Armor
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram and you can buy it from Lasota in Kaedweni Camp or from Mael in Vergen.

Earth Rune
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram and you can buy it from Berthold Candeleria in Flotsam or from Haggard in Vergen or from the Incredible Lockhart in Loc Muinne.

Elder Blood Boots
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram. You can find in a runed chest in Southeast gargoyle in Loc Muinne.

Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram. You can find it in northeast gargoyle runed chest in Loc Muinne.

Elder Blood Trousers
Location. You can collect it in Loc Muinne from northwest gargoyle runed chest.

Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram. In Flotsam, you purchase it from Fioravanti or from the Mysterious Merchant if you’ve installed the Mysterious Merchant DLC. Endrega Hide Armor Reinforcements
Location. In Flotsam Wilderness, you can find it in a chest within bandit hideout or from Lasota in Kaedweni Camp. You can purchase it from Mael in Vergen.

Essence of Water
Location. You can purchase this crafting diagram from Fioravanti in Flotsam or from the Mysterious Merchant if you’ve installed the Mysterious Merchant DLC. You can also get it from Lasota, Master Myron, Sambor, Felicia Cori in Vergen or from Incredible Lockhart in Loc Muinne.

Fire Rune
Location. You can purchase Fire Rune from Berthold Candeleria in Flotsam or from Haggard in Vergen. In Loc Muinne, you can buy it from the Incredible Lockhart.

Hardened Leather
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram and you can buy it from Fioravanti in Flotsam. Or from the Mysterious Merchant if you’ve installed the Mysterious Merchant DLC. Or you can get it from Lasota if you choose the tempered armor design after beating him at dice poker. Or buy it from Felicia Cori in Vergen. In Loc Muinne, you can either purchase it from Felicia Cori or from the Incredible Lockhart.

Hardened Leather Boots
Location. It’s a magical crafting diagram. You can buy it from Sendler in Lobinden or from Mael in Vergen.
