With the release of GTA San Andreas Definitive Edition, both old and new players will be experiencing the Legacy of Rockstar. A huge part of this Legacy is the cheat codes. In this guide, we’ll outline all the usable cheat codes in GTA San Andreas in GTA: The Trilogy.
GTA San Andreas Cheats
GTA San Andreas has a large list of cheat codes that range from the basics of weapons and vehicles to even weather, pedestrian behavior and traffic light color.
To use a cheat in GTA SA, simply enter its designated code in the game. You do not need to open any special menu to enter the code as in GTA 5.
If you enter the correct code, you will see the effects of the cheat as well as a message in the top right corner “Cheat Activated”. This will also disable all your achievements and trophies.
A few cheat codes for San Andreas are not working in GTA: The Trilogy. These may have been disabled or even removed. There are mixed reports of these cheats.
Sometimes, this may be simply due to the fact that the correct cheat has not been entered, yet we are working to confirm and flag the cheats that are not working.
Cheats might also interfere with your Save files and using too many cheats in quick succession may corrupt your save file, so make sure you go a little easy on the cheats.

Cheats On PS5, PS4, PS3 And PS2
Consoles have no keyboard, so San Andreas takes its cheats as button combinations instead, pressed during normal play with no menu open. The sequences below are the same on every PlayStation the game has shipped on, which is why a code written for the PS2 still works on the Definitive Edition. Enter them briskly; the game stops listening if you pause between presses.

Cheats On Xbox Series X, Series S, One And 360
Xbox uses the same sequences with the buttons swapped, so there is no separate list to learn. Read any PlayStation code above and substitute as you go: A for Cross, B for Circle, X for Square, Y for Triangle, LB for L1, RB for R1, LT for L2 and RT for R2. The directions are unchanged.

So infinite health, which is Down, Cross, Right, Left, Right, R1, Right, Down, Up, Triangle on a PlayStation pad, becomes Down, A, Right, Left, Right, RB, Right, Down, Up, Y on an Xbox one.
Cheats On Android And iOS
The mobile versions have no cheat entry of their own. There is no console to open and no button combination to press, because a touchscreen has no buttons to press in sequence. The only supported route is to pair a physical keyboard with the device over Bluetooth or USB and type the PC codes from the table above during play, exactly as you would on a desktop.
What Cheats Cost You
On any platform with achievements or trophies, which is every modern release, entering a single code switches them off for that save file. Several codes are also unreliable in the Definitive Edition, having been disabled or quietly removed, and stacking a lot of them in quick succession can corrupt a save.
