Items
Our 21 item pages for Grand Theft Auto V split into two kinds of thing: vehicles you unlock once, and sets you collect piece by piece. The number that separates a quick evening from a week of diving is the size of the set. A Hydra is one purchase after one heist. Fifty stunt jumps or fifty bridges are fifty trips. This guide sorts every page by that count, from the single unique vehicles up to the fifty-piece sets, with the reward for finishing each one alongside.
Two things cut across the ordering. Several sets are only switched on by a story mission or a property, so check the unlock column against our quests guide before hunting. And the Online sets, shipwrecks in particular, are rationed by the day rather than by the map.

One piece: the unique vehicles and the hatchet
Five pages are about a single thing you earn once. The Duke O'Death is the returning-player car on newer consoles and PC: after Tonya's Pulling Favors, the Duel random event spawns it at the cafe car park south of Sandy Shores, the truckers chase you, and a train tunnel loses them. The page lists two fallback spawns, a phone cheat, and the fact that it customises but never weaponises. The Hydra and Valkyrie are both Online heist unlocks: finish the Fleeca Job and Prison Break, start the Humane Labs Raid, and the EMP setup unlocks the Hydra for the whole team while the fourth setup unlocks the Valkyrie, after which Warstock sells them for $3 million and $2.85 million.
The Stone Hatchet is a promotional weapon tied to Maude's bounties in Online. Five of her twenty targets, tracked by a faint bell as you close in and worth $10,000 alive or $5,000 dead, produce a treasure map to an ambushed chest. Kills with the hatchet trigger a 30-second Rampage, and the challenge pays $250,000 plus a matching hatchet for Red Dead Redemption 2 owners. The Kosatka is a vehicle you buy rather than find, $2.2 million from Miguel Madrazo at The Music Locker, but it belongs here because it is the single ticket to the Cayo Perico heist. Upgrades run to $9.085 million all in (a $1.9 million missile system, $3.36 million for two Moon Pool vehicles, a $1.2 million sonar, a $350,000 weapon workshop, $75,000 for paint), it costs $105 a day to keep, and fast travel in it is $2,000 to $10,000 a trip.
Four to fifteen: the short sets
The four UFOs are sightseeing rather than collecting: one sunk at about 390 feet off the northern islands, one hovering over Fort Zancudo, one over the hippy camp by the Alamo Sea, and one on Mount Chiliad's viewing platform that only appears at 3 AM in rain after 100 percent completion. The six Gunrunning weaponized vehicles are a Warstock catalogue with two price columns, the Dune FAV at $1,130,500 or $850,000 traded up to the Oppressor at $3,524,500 or $2,650,000, and the page's verdicts: the APC's SAM turret does the work, the Half-Track's exposed gunner is its weakness, the Anti-Aircraft Trailer's flak takes down nearly anything airborne. The ten Epsilon tracts unlock after all eight Epsilon missions and sit in awkward places, Mount Chiliad's telescope platform, the Maze Bank roof, a sunken paddle steamer off the Palomino Highlands, for no reward beyond the complete excerpts on the cult's website.
The aircraft page is a buyer's list of eleven, mostly from Elitas Travel: the Cuban 800 at $240,000, the Mallard at $250,000, the Duster at $275,000, the Maverick at $780,000, the Shamal and Luxor jets at $1.15 million and $1.5 million, the Frogger at $1.3 million, the Buzzard at $2 million and the Cargobob at $2.2 million, with the Titan and P-996 Lazer only stealable from Fort Zancudo. Bought aircraft need a hangar, priced on our properties page. The twelve hidden packages are briefcases on the sea floor beside wrecks, eleven underwater and the twelfth on the Altruist Camp porch, and the page explains both the character-switch duplication trick and the 24-hour respawn that makes them the infinite money exploit. The fifteen real estate signs are Lenny Avery's For Sale boards, destroyed for Josh in the Extra Commission strand after Hang Ten, with his website's directions feature doing the navigation.
Twenty-two and twenty-seven: casino cars and cactus
The casino vehicles page lists the 22 cars added around the Diamond Casino update, six at launch and sixteen after, split between Legendary Motorsport and Southern San Andreas Super Autos. The range runs from the $450,000 Weeny Dynasty to the $2,875,000 Benefactor Krieger, the Gauntlet Classic and Jugular carry heist-leader discounts, and the armoured Paragon R is not for sale at all: it is the reward for hosting all six casino missions, which our host missions page explains. The 27 peyote plants are a current-generation addition that turn you into one of 13 animals, from a house cat to an orca. The page places twenty of them, several underwater near Del Perro Pier and Fort Zancudo and several on Chiliad and Gordo, and notes that the animal form ends when it dies or you cancel it.
Thirty: the Sonar Dock pair and the daily shipwreck
Two thirty-piece sets share a switch. Finish the Merryweather heist, buy the Sonar Collections Dock for $250,000, and the Trackify app appears for nuclear waste while Abigail on the dock starts the submarine pieces. The barrels pay $23,000 each and lie between 30 and 496 feet down, the deepest ones in ravines where the page warns about pressure; the submarine parts pay $10 and a signed photo, though the wrecks they sit in hold armour, weapons and a hidden package, and the page's spawn fix is to switch characters and back. The shipwrecks are Online's slowest set: one of 30 chests spawns every 24 real hours along the coast, three of the listed spots are unused by the game, the first seven chests carry Frontier Outfit scraps, and opening all 30 pays $20,000 and 2,000 RP.
Fifty: the four big sets
Four sets stop at fifty. The letter scraps are Leonora Johnson's killer's confession, scattered from the Port of Los Santos to a derelict porch in Paleto Bay, and reading all fifty unlocks A Mystery, Solved and Dreyfuss's mansion, where the Strangers and Freaks page leaves you the choice to shoot. The signal jammers are Online and tied to the Diamond Casino Heist: destroy all fifty, most along the highway, a few hidden in the city and one inside Fort Zancudo, to recruit Avi Schwartzman, and the page recommends an invite-only session and an armed aircraft. The stunt jumps are fifty ramps from a Vinewood Hills dirt incline to the Chum Street overpass, each with a preferred vehicle, landing on all wheels for Show Off and 100 percent. The under the bridges page is the flying equivalent, fifty low passes for Close Shave, grouped along the Alamo Sea rivers, Lago Zancudo, the Senora Freeway and the East Vinewood flood control channels, with a note on which want a helicopter and which a light plane. The helicopter course on our flight school page passes several of them.
No fixed count: the rare spawns
The rare vehicles page is the one list without a total, because its entries are conditions rather than pieces. The Space Docker needs all fifty spaceship parts, the Submarine and Dinghy need the Sonar Collections Dock, the P-996 Lazer needs a raid on Fort Zancudo and a hangar, the Z-Type needs $10 million, and the FIB Buffalo, FIB SUV, Park Ranger and unmarked cruiser have single spawn points. Its Online half covers the Obey Tailgater after Simeon's text, the Bodhi in the Dirt Road job, a Merryweather Mesa for $7,500 of mercenaries, and the Asea kept from the tutorial race. The full purchasable catalogue is on our vehicles and customization guide.
Frequently asked questions
Which collectibles are available from the start?
Letter scraps, stunt jumps and hidden packages need no unlock. Nuclear waste and submarine pieces wait for the Merryweather heist and the Sonar Collections Dock, Epsilon tracts for the Epsilon missions, and signal jammers and shipwrecks are Online only.
Which set pays the most?
Nuclear waste, at $23,000 for each of 30 barrels. The hidden packages pay less per pickup but respawn every 24 hours, and the shipwrecks' $20,000 only arrives after 30 days of chests.
Where are the story properties and Online businesses?
Story purchases are ranked by payback on the mechanics guide, Online garages, apartments, nightclubs and agencies on the locations guide, and both saves meet on the GTA 5 hub.
