Ark Crystal Isles Silk Locations

Silk is a highly resourceful item in Ark: Survival Ascended. It can be used to craft other items, including tents, Whips, and Desert Cloth Armor. You can acquire silk by killing Lymantria and using a Sabertooth or Metal Hatchet. You can also harvest silk from purple and white flowers and find it in reeds.

Silk is mostly found near the water, usually in ravines. But in Ark Crystal Isles expansion, we find a ton of silk in the desert. Famous locations to find Silk are Griffin Trench, Oasis, Desert, and mountains.

Ark Crystal Isles Silk Location #2

Moving slightly down in the same area will bring you to the next area with abundant silk flowers. The coordinates are 69 Latitude and 40 Longitude.

Once you’re done with the coordinates above, you should head South towards the Griffin trench. GPS coordinates below are probably the best spot to farm some Silk.

How to use Silk in Ark: Crystal Isles?

In Ark: Survival Ascended, silk can be used to craft the following items:

  • Tent
  • Whip
  • Desert Cloth Armor

Silk Spawn Command

If you’re having trouble finding Metal in Ark: Survival Ascended, you can use spawn commands to have this item spawn in your inventory. To do this, you must open the cheat console by pressing the TAB key on your keyboard.

If you’re playing on PlayStation, you’ll need to hold down L1, R1, Square, and Triangle at once, and similarly, on Xbox, hold down, LB, RB, X, and Y at once. Once the console opens, simply type in: “cheat gfi Silk 1 0 0” and hit enter to add this resource directly to your inventory.

If you come across a situation where the command does not work, try resetting your system or game or try using this spawn command instead: “cheat giveitem “Blueprint’/Game/ScorchedEarth/CoreBlueprints/Resources/PrimalItemResource_Silk.PrimalItemResource_Silk'” 1 0 0”
