Now, the good part about these is you can craft them yourself or find them in areas that are accessible in the early game; however, the bad part is that resources are scattered throughout the map, so pinpointing a location would be slightly difficult.

Where to Find Silica in Ark Extinction?

Silica deposits can be found by harvesting green-red nodes on the northcentral portion of the map at 10.2 Latitude and 58.5 Longitude. Remember, this is a dangerous area to get silicate as it has high-level creatures wandering.

You can also fly below the plateau to flat lands to harvest more nodes, but remember. There will be corrupted gigas down there. You can also head west of the previous location towards 14.6 Latitude and 39.7 Longitude. If you’re looking for silica pearls, raid the Beaver Dams and the rivers and streams of the Snow Biome and Underground Forest.

Where to Find Black Pearls in Ark Extinction?

To get Black Pearls, you must head straight to the Wastelands and hunt corrupted dinos. The dinos that you will be looking for are the Corrupted Rex, Corrupted Giganotosaurus, Corrupted Spinos, Corrupted Paraceratherium, Corrupted Brontosaurus, Corrupted Deathworms, and Reaper Kings.

You will find these dinos spread all across different areas of the Wasteland. But the northern side has Gigas, which makes your hunt tough due to their large size, so they target the southern region of Wasteland. The ideal hunting ground is at 75.8 Latitude and 38.9 Longitude.

How to Craft Silica and Black Pearls in ARK Extinction?

The best way of crafting your own Silica and Black Pearls is through Gachas. Now, start by setting the radial wheel to production. Select Silica and Black Pearls and move food into its inventory, and it will start producing the Pearls or any other resource you choose.

It is not guaranteed that you will find some Silica and Black Pearls every time you take out a corrupted creature. We recommend using Gachas to craft these resources, but you can also try corrupted creatures.
