Ark Scorched Earth Salt Locations

Raw salt is used to increase item spoil time, making it an important resource in Ark Scorched Earth. Preserving Salt is created by mixing sulfur with raw Salt in a mortar and pestle. As for getting Salt, it is abundant throughout the map.

You can either farm the dinosaur fossils to get salt or salt rocks. As for the tools, you can either use a pickaxe or an axe. This guide will tell you where to find and farm Salt in Ark Scorched Earth.

Salt Location #1

Salt location #1 in the Northern High Desert gap of Ark Scorched Earth at 25.2 Lat, 47.4 Lon

The first salt farming location is in the Northern High Desert area at 25.2 Latitude and 47.4 Longitude. This spot is right inside the massive gap area. You will find some more salt rocks on cliffs outside the gap area at 24.1 Latitude and 48.6 Longitude.

Salt Location #2

Salt location #2, small dinosaur bones in the Badlands of Ark Scorched Earth at 58.6 Lat, 76.4 Lon

For the next spot, head to Badlands and harvest the small dinosaur bones at 58.6 Latitude and 76.4 Longitude.

Salt Location #3

Salt location #3, more dinosaur bones in the Badlands of Ark Scorched Earth at 51.3 Lat, 64.0 Lon

The third spot is also in the Badlands, you will find some more bones at 51.3 Latitude and 64.0 Longitude.

Salt Location #4

Salt location #4 in the Badlands of Ark Scorched Earth at 34.2 Lat, 68.5 Lon

The next location is at 34.2 Latitude and 68.5 Longitude in the Badlands.

Salt Location #5

Salt location #5, salt rocks in the Northern Dunes of Ark Scorched Earth at 8.7 Lat, 49.0 Lon

Move to the Northern Dunes, and you will find a good chunk of salt rocks out in the desert at 8.7 Latitude and 49.0 Longitude.

Salt Location #6

Salt location #6 in the South East Dunes of Ark Scorched Earth at 56.5 Lat, 96.3 Lon

The last spot is in the South East Dunes at 56.5 Latitude and 96.3 Longitude.

Salt Spawn Command

If you’re having trouble finding Salt in Ark Scorched Earth, you can use spawn commands to have this item spawn in your inventory. To do this, you must open the cheat console by pressing the TAB key on your keyboard.

If you’re playing on PlayStation, you’ll need to hold down L1, R1, Square, and Triangle at once, and similarly, on Xbox, hold down, LB, RB, X, and Y at once. Once the console opens, simply type in: “cheat gfi RawSalt 1 0 0” and hit enter to add this resource directly to your inventory.
