ARK Genesis Metal Locations Guide

Metal is an important resource used in constructing different tools and structures, and luckily, you can find it in abundance in Ark Genesis. Once you find a metal node, use a metal pickaxe to gather metal from it. You can refine the extracted metal into ingots.

This guide covers some of the best places to visit to farm metal in large quantities on the Ark Genesis map.

Ark Genesis Metal Location #1

Metal nodes scattered across the southeast corner of Ark Genesis

The first location is in the lower southeast corner of the map at 83.7 Latitude and 84.0 Longitude. You will find a lot of metal nodes scattered here that respawn over time.

Metal nodes around the base of the big tree in Ark Genesis

For the second spot, head to 79.6 Latitude and 81.0 Longitude and explore the base of the big tree and area around you and you will find some metal nodes.

Ark Genesis Metal Location #3

Make your way to the center of the map at 53.2 Latitude and 57.6 Longitude and head inside the tree from the opening. You will find large chunks of metal nodes inside.

The next spot you need to head to is the lower southeast section of the map at 71.0 Latitude and 64.7 Longitude. You will find piles of large metal nodes surrounding the area.

Metal Location #5

Snow-covered metal nodes in the Snow Biome of Ark Genesis

Head to 75.8 Latitude and 26.0 Longitude in the Snow Biome region, and you will find metal nodes covered under snow.

Metal Location #6

Metal spot at 11.8 Lat, 72.7 Lon in the northeast of Ark Genesis

The last location is in the northeast section of the map at 11.8 Latitude and 72.7 Longitude.

Metal Spawn Command

If you’re having trouble finding Metal in Ark Genesis, you can use spawn commands to have this item spawn in your inventory. To do this, you must open the cheat console by pressing the TAB key on your keyboard.

If you’re playing on PlayStation, you’ll need to hold down L1, R1, Square, and Triangle at once, and similarly, on Xbox, hold down LB, RB, X, and Y at once. Once the console opens, simply type in: “cheat giveitemnum 9 1 0 0” and hit enter to add this resource directly to your inventory.

If you come across a situation where the command does not work, try resetting your system or game.
