Zelda: Breath of the Wild Great Fairy Locations Guide – Great Fairy Armor Upgrades, How to Upgrade Armor

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Great Fairy Locations Guide to help you find all 4 Great Fairies in the LoZ: BotW to fully upgrade your armor.

Great Fairies in the LoZ: BotW can upgrade your armor after a small upfront payment. However, the cost continues to increase. The first Great Fairy you discover will ask for 100 rupees, the second Great Fairy will ask for 500 rupees, the third Great Fairy will ask for 1,000 rupees, and the final Great Fairy will ask for 10,000 rupees to join your side.

It’s important to remember that this is a one-time payment and the Great Fairies won’t ask you for money each time you visit them. However, each attire in the game requires specialized materials to get upgraded. If you wish to upgrade an attire, you must provide the Great Fairies with all the required materials.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Great Fairy Locations Guide

In our The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Great Fairy Locations Guide, we’ve detailed everything you need to know about finding all the Great Fairies in LoZ: BotW.

Great Fairy Cotera

You need to head over to the Ta’loh Naeg Shrine from the Kakariko Village and proceed towards the woods. Head left from the intersection and you should be able to interact with her near the large flower.

Great Fairy Mija

This one is located next to the Dah Hesho Shrine. You should be able to head there from the Akkala Citadel Ruins. Once you’re at the ruins, proceed towards the Akkala Lake and find the fairy on a clearing in the centre of the lake.

Great Fairy Kaysa

This one is located near the Tabantha Great Bridge and the Nero Hill. I recommend scaling the Tabantha Tower to the top and paraglide directly to it – shouldn’t be hard.

Great Fairy Tera

For the final one, head towards the Dragon’s Exile from the Gerudo City – just continue southeast from the city and you should get there. Once there, proceed towards the Gerudo Great Skeleton and find the fairy in the area.
