The Sims 4 Conservationist Career: Two Branches, Paid By The Hour

Conservationist arrived with the game's environmental expansion and it is priced differently from the rest of the roster: the rates below are hourly, not daily, which makes the numbers look small next to a Business Tycoon's until you multiply them out. It also has the longest shared ladder of any branching career this folder covers, running six ranks deep before the split.

Environmental Manager

Marine Biologist

Environmental Manager is ahead at all four ranks, though the gap narrows sharply: §40 an hour at the split, §15 an hour at the top. For comparison, our highest paying jobs list prices the game's top earners the same way, and a Stylist at §500 an hour or a Military officer at §422 is in a different bracket entirely.

Skills, By Branch

Logic carries the first six ranks on its own, which is unusually simple. After that each branch adds its own: Charisma for the Environmental Manager, who spends the job persuading people, and Fitness for the Marine Biologist, who does not. Raising Logic early therefore keeps both doors open, and the branch decision can wait until the game forces it.

Working From Home

Plan around that if you are trying to hit a rank before a particular Sim event rather than assuming the promotion arrives the moment the tasks are ticked off.
