How To Get The Two-Handed Sword Talisman In Elden Ring

Become a powerhouse with the Two-Handed Sword Talisman in Elden Ring.

A talisman depicting a horned warrior, the Two-Handed Sword Talisman is a new addition to Elden Ring with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Fashioned after the great horned warriors who love to use swords with two hands, this talisman greatly enhances the attack power with two-handed weapons.

In this guide, we will tell you how to acquire the Two-Handed Sword Talisman in Elden Ring and how you can use it to further enhance your already overpowered strength builds in Elden Ring.

Two-Handed Sword Talisman Location

The Two-Handed Sword Talisman in Elden Ring can be obtained from a treasure chest inside the Temple Town Ruins. This settlement can be found northwest of Castle Ensis and Ellac Greatbridge.

FYI

FYI: This place is also directly west of the Northern Nameless Mausoleum.

Once you reach the Temple Town Ruins, use the torrent to climb the buildings until you reach the tallest one. This area is teeming with Horned Warriors that are a bit difficult to take down.

Defeat the Horned Warrior on the top of the tallest building and climb the stairs to find a small room. Open the treasure chest inside the room to collect the Two-Handed Sword Talisman in Elden Ring.

Two-Handed Sword Talisman Stats and Uses

Two-Handed Sword Talisman weighs 1.2 and increases the attack power of Two-Handed Swords by 15%. As the name indicates, this talisman doesn’t work with Bows, Great Bows, Light Bows, Crossbows, or Ballistae.

This Talisman is a dream come true for the Greatsword builds like Malekith’s Black Blade or the Blasphemous Blade. Any time you want to try a build that relies heavily on Strength and wielding the main weapon with Two-Hands, this talisman should be your go-to.

Some weapons can’t be Two-handed; instead, they are always dual-wielded. Such weapons are called Paired weapons, like Backhand Blade, and this talisman doesn’t work with them.

Two-Handed Sword Talisman can’t be stacked with Claw Talisman or Axe Talisman. This means you won’t get additional damage with your jump or charged attacks.

This Talisman also doesn’t apply to any spell or skill. Some other things where this talisman doesn’t apply are Backstabs, Riposte, Mounted Damage, and charged attacked if you use the Regal Roar skill.

It can be sold for 200 Runes to any merchant in the game. We strongly recommend against it as the Two-Handed Sword Talisman is one of the best talismans for the Strength builds and can only be obtained once per playthrough.
