How To Get The Dragon Halberd In Elden Ring

Defeat a Dragonkin soldier to obtain their pride Dragon Halberd in Elden Ring.

Dragon Halberd is a massive weapon in the Elden Ring that belongs to the Halberd category. This is a weapon of choice for Strength and Dexterity builds as it scales amazingly with these stats.

A weapon of choice for the Dragonkin Soldiers, this halberd represents their futile attempt to gain immortality. In this guide, we will help you acquire the Dragon Halberd in Elden Ring, as it can only be obtained by defeating a well-hidden boss in the game.

Dragon Halberd Location

Dragon Halberd can only be obtained as a reward for defeating the Dragonkin Soldier in Siofra River.

FYI

You can enter the Siofra River by taking the elevator in the eastern Limgrave.

From the entrance of the Sifora River, go straight until you come across another elevator hidden inside a room. Use this elevator to reach the Siofra River Bank Site of Grace.

Go northeast from this grace until you come across a broken pillar with an ancestral spirit enemy on it. Beware, as it uses powerful arrows to hurt you from afar.

Use your ride Torrent to climb the broken pillar and find a teleporter behind it. Use this teleporter to reach a small river on the top. There is no other way to access this area safely.

You will notice a Dragonkin Soldier sleeping near the waterfall. As you approach it, the fight will start. The best way to defeat this enemy is by targeting its legs. Make sure to use the Dragonwound Grease and avoid Lightning attacks, as it is immune to them.

Once the Dragonkin Soldier is defeated, it will drop the Dragon Halberd. This is a one-time drop per playthrough, so be careful about losing it.

Best Dragon Halberd Build, Is it Good?

Dragon Halberd is an amazing weapon against Dragon Type enemies and in PvP. For the best build around this weapon, we recommend the following.

The best stats to upgrade for this build are Strength and Dexterity.

  • Strength: 55
  • Dexterity: 45
  • Vigor: 50
  • Endurance: 45

At this level, Dragon Halberd deals 700+ damage to normal enemies per strike.

Use Flame, Grant Me Strength to further increase your attack power per strike.

For Armor, use the Gelmir Knight Armor set. Avoid using the shield, as we recommend double-handing this weapon.

Use the following Talismans for the build.

  • Shard of Alexander
  • Dragoncrest Greatshield
  • Ritual Sword Talisman
  • Spear Talisman

For cracked tears, use the following.

  • Strength-Knot tear
  • Dexterity-Knot tear

With this build and using Flame, Grant Me Strength before starting an offensive, and we are looking at damage north of 1000 per strike, enough to melt bosses and your PvP opponents.
