God of War Forgotten Caverns Collectibles

There are six collectibles that you need to find and collect in Forgotten Caverns. We have detailed the locations of these collectibles below so that you can easily find them easily. In addition, we have arranged them in the order in which they appear while playing through the story so that you can easily find them without the need of any backtracking.

Collectible #1 – Favor
As soon as you arrive on the main beach, look for a Wayward Spirit on the beach. If you head towards it and interact with it, it will give you a side quest ‘Dead Freight’. The side quest is very easy and requires you to kill four enemy groups. Their locations are marked on the map so you will not have much of a problem in finding them.

Collectible #2 – Purple Language Cipher Chest
Once you have completed the side quest, return to the location of the Wayward Spirit and find the caverns ahead. Continue heading deeper into the caverns until you have to climb up. Keep climbing until you arrive at the top. Here you will find a Purple Language Cipher Chest. Collect it to add it to your collection.

Collectible #3 – Artefact
Near this chest, you will also find an Artefact. Collect the Artefact to add it to your collection.

Collectible #4 – Odin’s Raven
Once you have collected the Artefact, use the golden chain and climb down from the hill. As you land in the next area, you will see a Nornir Chest as well as an Odin’s Raven sitting on it. Kill the raven first to collect it.

Collectible #5 – Nornir Chest
Now, to open the Nornir Chest you need to find and hit three runes located on the left side. This has to be done in quick succession otherwise, the chest will not open. As you continue to hit them, their spinning speed will continue to increase. Use quick throw to hit them repeatedly until you manage to hit them all. Once you land a useful hit, the chest will open.

Collectible #6 – Odin’s Raven
Once you have collected the first five collectibles in the area, head back to your boat and set sail. The last collectible can only be reached using a boat. Your goal is the tunnel, which leads to Konunsgard. Inside the tunnel, park the boat on the left side and climb the wall. At the top of the wall, you will see an Odin’s Raven. Hit it to collect it. This is the last collectible in the region.
