Baldur's Gate 3 Lae’zel Approval Guide

Like the rest of the companions in Baldur’s Gate 3, you can recruit Lae’zel and earn her approval by partaking in the acts she likes or approves of. Lae’zel is a Githyanki fighter whom you can recruit while escaping from Nautiloid in Act 1. Lae’zel has excellent martial strength skills and is adapted to using melee weapons and bows.

When Lae’zel joins your side, you can complete her companion quest called “The Githyanki Warrior” to earn major approval from her. It will be up to you to make the right choices and get along with Lae’zel nature throughout your adventure. A high approval rating can get you to romance Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3, while continuous disapproval from her makes her lose interest in you and doubt your loyalty to the party.

How to gain Lae’zel approval in BG3

• When talking to Tiefling Zorru in Emerald Grove, make him kneel or bow.

• Threat the Tiefling child, Mol, during your first encounter with him.
• Once you defeat all three goblin leaders, talk to Zevlor to earn Lae’zel’s approval in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Act 2 Lae’zel approval choices

• Attack Lady Esther when asks you to steal a Githyanki egg.
• Make sure that you obtain the summoning bell from Balthazar in the Gauntlet of Shar.
• In the Last Light Inn, refuse to attack Isobel when using a dark urge origin character. Select the following dialogue choice: “I am not going to follow my order. You will live.”
• When you confront Fezzerk once more in Moonrise Towers, offer him a fair fight before you kill him.

What not to do if you want Lae’zel’s approval

Lae’zel, on the other hand, hates anything that contradicts her culture. She is not a fan of compassion and will not be pleased with any action of kindness.

The more approval you get, the better your chances to romance Lae’zel in Baldur’s Gate 3. You can romance Lae’zel as early as Act 1 if your approval meter hits the green.
