Speaking of Xbox, Xbox One X is currently the most powerful gaming console in the market. But, that doesn’t mean there are no flaws in the console itself. According to game devs, Xbox One X CPU is a “Bottleneck” and would love to see it upgraded.

The Xbox One X features 6 TFLOPs of GPU compute and is a significant upgrade over base Xbox One. However, the Xbox One X CPU saw marginal improvements. The base model features 1.75 GHz 8-core custom AMD CPU while the Xbox One X features 2.3 GHz 8-core custom AMD CPU.

It is quite evident from the games being locked at 30 FPS. Bungie was quite open about Destiny 2 locked at 30 FPS was because of the Xbox One X CPU. I hope Microsoft will deal with the CPU bottleneck with Xbox Scarlet.

This is potentially the reason why some games won’t fully utilize Xbox One X. One example is the upcoming game Darksiders 3.

According to THQ Nordic, the reason Darksiders 3 won’t fully utilize Xbox One X is the base Xbox One.

Microsoft has only announced that it is working on Xbox Scarlet. However, it seems that the next Xbox will use the GDDR6 memory along with a new type of DRAM. This is according to a Microsoft job listing.

Since the current console generation began, PS4 has dominated the market. Things changed with the launch of Xbox One X. However, in Australia Xbox One hasn’t been able to beat the PS4. Sony revealed that PS4 is the best-selling console in Australia since its launch.

Not only that, PlayStation 4 dominated the month of October 2018 in terms of unit and dollars sold. Also, the console outsold its competition with a wide margin.
