It Takes “Balls” to Release Games Like Horizon Zero Dawn: Xbox Founder

According to the founder of Xbox, Seamus Blackley, Horizon Zero Dawn is a spectacular game and it takes balls to release such a title.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a remarkable achievement by Guerilla Games. Working on Killzone for the entirety of its creation, GG came out with a fresh but risky concept. You know what they say, the bigger the risk the bigger the reward.

The entire industry is praising GG’s latest title, even the opposing team, Microsoft. According to the founder of Xbox, Seamus Blackley, Horizon Zero Dawn is a spectacular game and it takes balls to release such a title. He also seemed impressed by the role of President of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida.

I want big release. 100 million Dollar bet” that requires a lot of courage. Blackley said Guerrilla is a great developer but that it takes “balls” to bring such projects to the market and that Yoshida “is the man” for sticking by it even if it wasn’t looking too good at times during the development.

You guys as Xbox gamers owe a huge debt of gratitude to Yoshida-san because he’s a fucking badass. He’s pushing, pushing, pushing, pushing, and he’s also a gamer.

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of the best PlayStation 4 titles to release this generation. The project shows Sony’s ability to take high risk and allowing developers to be as creative as they wish with their concepts.

We hope Sony continues on the same path to keep giving us unique experiences like Zero Dawn.
