Once you locate these bosses, the defeating strategy remains almost the same. However, the weaknesses and levels vary.
1. Persona 5 Axe Lock Keeper
This is the first lock keeper with a stagger gauge of 8 in Persona 5. The Axe Lock Keeper is weak to Curse, Wind, Bless, and Fire Attacks.
Make a headstart by launching multiple Land Debuffs on this boss. These debuffs can be inflicted in various forms, such as Rakunda, Sukunda, and Tarunda. Moreover, these debuffs are also accessible by the Joker, Panther, and Sophie. You can use buffs like Tarukaja, Rakukaja, and Sukukaja from Joker’s personas.
The boss frequently vanishes into the ground and teleports during the battle, and you must be careful as it unleashes a sneak attack. Moreover, it uses the axe to deal with physical damage; you must dodge these attacks.
Focus on taking down the shield of the boss using elemental skills. When the boss deals with Burn, use Wind and Nuclear attacks to inflict technical damage on him; use Mona and Joker simultaneously for this.
2. Sword Lock Keeper
The second boss, Sword Lock Keeper, is weak to Curse, Bless, and Ice attacks. Start the fight by buffing your party with Rakukaja for defense, Tarukaja for attack power, and Sukukaja for evasion increase.
Then, land debuffs like Tarunda, Rakunda, and Sukunda. These powers are accessible by Sophie and Joker’s personas, such as Arsene. Also, use elemental attacks to break the lock keeper’s defense and give damage. You need to focus on the boss’s weakness, use technical hits, and inflict Freeze status ailments to deplete its gauge.
Like Sword Lock Keeper, this boss will teleport around the arena to launch deadly sneak attacks. The boss can inflict Dizzy and Rage status ailments, so ensure you have stocking healing items.
3. Shield Lock Keeper
The major weaknesses of the third lock keeper include Bless, Curse, and Psy attacks. The recommended debuffs against the boss are Tarunda, Rakunda and Sukunda, accessible by Joker, Panther, and Sophie’s personas. As for the buffs, you need to use Sukukaja, Rakukaja, and Taraukaja.
The Shield Lock Keeper has high defense, owning to the bunch of shields it holds and performing physical attacks using them. Therefore, the best strategy to inflict maximum damage here is to use elemental attacks to break the shields. Use short-range elemental skills when the boss is nearby.
Also, use ailments like Burn, Wind, and Nuclear attacks to inflict maximum damage. If the boss has a mental ailment like Fear or Brainwash, then go for Psychokinesis to deal with him. Make use of showtime attacks to take the boss down effectively.
4. Multi-Arms Lock Keeper
The fourth Lock Keeper is weak to Bless and Curse attacks. Start the fight by landing debuffs like Rakunda, Sukunda, and Tarunda, using Joker’s Arsene. Then buff your party.

5. Bazooka Lock Keeper
The fifth and final lock keeper, Bazooka Lock Keeper, weakens to Curse, Nuke, Bless, and Elec attacks. Use Sophie and Joker’s Arsene to equip debuffs like Tarunda, Rkunda, and Sukunda.
Exploit the boss’s weakness using elemental attacks, breaking down the defense first, and then using Shock followed by Physical, Gun, or Nuclear attacks to give it more damage. Build up your showtime gauge, and unleash the showtime attack when available.
