Borderlands 3 Legendary Grenades, Effects, and Red Text Guide

Legendary Grenade mods in Borderlands 3 help in changing the effect of the grenades by shifting them from normal to giving them new area effects. The effects can be creating a black hole which sucks enemies inside, cluster bombs, etc. The mods are random drops from enemies or they are given as rewards for completing the story missions.

Borderlands 3 Legendary Grenades

Make sure that you are playing the game in Online Mode, otherwise, the players face difficulty in receiving the Legendary Grenade mods even after playing the game for countless hours. You do not receive Legendary Grenade mods in Offline Mode.

Red Text: Cabrón.

Sticks to the enemy and does damage over time to health even if they have a shield on.

Tran-Fusion

Unleashes charged beams which do damage to multiple enemies simultaneously.

EMP

Red Text: Drop the shields.

Expends enemy shields. Used for area control.

Nagata

Red Text: Beltalowda!

Spawns a circle of grenades that shoot lasers at target.

Quasar

Red Text: E=mc^(OMG)/wtf

Hovers and sucks enemies in. Constant arcs of electricity

Fastball

Red Text: Forget the curveball Ricky, give him the heater.

Throws the grenade-like a fast baseball. Explodes on impact.

Hunter-Seeker

Red Text: Grip tightly.

Splits into 2 slow drones that shoot before exploding.

Rubber Cheddar Shredder

Red Text: Make it rain.

Enemies drop a holy metric buttload of cash when damaged.

Firestorm

Red Text: Soon afterward, the cloud descended upon the earth.

Shoots fireballs down from the sky.

Storm Front

Red Text: Very, very frightening.

Splits into 4 grenades that deal a continuous shock to nearby enemies.

Diamond Butt Bomb

Red Text: Bye bye, Li’l Butt Stallion!

Throw Buttstallion with a rainbow explosion.

Epicenter

Red Text: It burns, burns, burns.

Explodes twice releasing radial of projectiles.

It’s Piss

Red Text: Hey you guys!

Removes status effects on allies. Damaged enemies take +20% DMG.

Widowmaker

Red Text: À la vie, à la mort.

Proximity grenade. Spawns homing rockets.

Tina’s Hippity Hopper

Red Text: Hare today, bomb tomorrow.

Rubberized.

Ultraball

Red Text: Do not taunt Happy Fun Ball.

Explodes into bouncing grenades and balls.

Moxxi’s Bouncing Pair

Red Text: Prepare for trouble, and make it double.

Rubberized. Throws two grenades at once. Increased damage every bounce.
