Call of Black Ops 4 Blackout is Still Not a Competition for Fortnite on Twitch

Black Ops 4 Blackout is still lacking in competition with Fortnite on Twitch. Fortnite managed to have 7 million viewers than Black Ops 4 last week.

When Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout launched weeks ago everyone thought that it would be the end of Fortnite craze but now, it has been confirmed through the official stats that Fortnite is still the king.

Black Ops 4 came with the first ever battle royale mode called Blackout in the Call Of Duty franchise. It’s similar to the Fortnite Battle Royale mode but it’s more realistic as compared to the cartoonish graphics of Fortnite. This was one of the reasons for the success of Black Ops 4 but it hasn’t managed to overtake Fortnite on Twitch.

This information comes from The eSports Observer which shows us that Fortnite had 7 million more Twitch viewers than Black Ops 4.

According to the Twitch top content stats, Black Ops 4 now stands at the 3rd position with 10.50 million viewers which is a decrease from the launch week of the game. As for Fortnite, it had 17.35 million viewers coming second to League of Legends with 17.67 million viewers between October 21 and October 27.

Now, what makes Fortnite successful is the unique building mechanics in the game. Fortnite includes buildings, dance emotes, skins and limited time events. That is also something Black Ops 4 is trying to catch up to with their new Black Market. It’s now available and it brings tags, exclusive cosmetics and more.

Black Ops 4 released about 2 weeks ago so we will have to wait to see big changes in the game. Treyarch is continuously making changes to the game. They have now also increased the server response rate.

As for Fortnite, it has now made its way to the Guinness World Records for having the most participants in a video game emote routine. Epic Games made this record at Paris Game Week and it was all worth watching some of your favorite emotes being performed by 383 Fortnite players.

One of the reasons Fortnite has a massive player count is because of the events now and then. Latest Fornitemares Halloween event has now arrived.

According to the reports, Epic Games is now also working with NERF to bring us Fortnite-themed NERF blasters. With that, more kids will want to play the game and this viewership count will further increase so we don’t think so that Black Ops 4 will be able to catch Fortnite Battle Royale anytime soon.
