Assassin’s Creed Rogue Assassin Interceptions Tips

Assassin Interception missions are divided into multiple steps and their completion rewards players with the Templar Enforcer armor that allows players to mark Stalkers from a longer distance.

Players need to locate pigeons which the Assassins use to communicate to find out the target of each attack. The initial location of the pigeons is marked on the map as the Assassin Intercept quest icon.

Since the pigeons are high up on buildings, players have to climb up and slowly make their way towards the birds. If they walk too quickly the birds can fly away.

Once Shay is close to the pigeons, players have to follow the onscreen prompts to capture the bird. If they fail, the pigeon can fly away.

Players can choose to chase it down to the location where it lands again or simply return some other time to retry. Once the players get the pigeon, they will know the location where the Assassins plan on attacking so players have to hurry to the area.

The Assassins will be hiding in multiple locations around the victim, each location marked by a circle to highlight their general presence.

Players have to look for them using Eagle Vision or just by observing their outfit, which would be yellow. If a person is in yellow outfit and doesn’t show up on mini-map before the use of Eagle Vision, that is definitely an Assassin.

Upon reaching the area, players have to kill a certain number of Assassin’s preparing to attack the target, before the timer runs out.

While it isn’t necessary to kill them all during that time, it does reward players with a bonus and also makes their job easier in the next phase.

When the timer expires, the Assassins will attack the target from rooftops or rush through the streets. Players need to keep an eye out for both these areas and constantly observe the mini-map to see which direction the next attack is coming from.

The target is pretty weak so it will not survive long against the attacks. Shooting enemies on rooftops is a far better strategy than climbing up and fighting them since it saves a lot of time.

Once all the Assassins are dead, the mission is completed.
