Find out how you can make fast money in Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag. What side activities you need to complete to make easy money.

I still remember the days when I used to spend hours on previous Assassin’s Creed titles. Money was never an issue. Throwing a lot of it to cause a mayhem on the streets, hiring dancers and thieves to distract guards, buying weapons and upgrades and even upgrading the town; still I never ran out of it.

However, a lot has changed in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag; as nothing is enough for our charming pirate and his beloved Jackdaw. Since the various activities in the game eat up your hard earned Reales in an instant, the game does deliver a ton of ways using which you can stay on the game.

In this money-making guide, I will talking about different ways and exploits with which you would be bathing in Reales in no time. Still, if you found something missing, do let us know in the Comment Section below. We always appreciate your feedback.

Treasure Chests
Synchronizing all the Viewpoints in a particular area reveals much valuable information; such as locations of Treasure Chests. These Treasure Chests are scattered in every area that Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag has to offer.

Finding and looting these Treasure Chests not only gives you 100 to 300 Reales but also you will get some useful items and ammo.

Assassination Contracts
Most players don’t pay heed to these missions which become accessible after you reach Havana. Like most collectibles, Assassination Contracts are available in almost every area of the game and get you 1,000 Reales for completing each contract along with 500 Reales as bonus for carrying out the mission stealthily.

Besides this, you get other exciting rewards, so make sure to check them out. You can read our detailed Assassin’s Contracts Guide to complete these assassinations without any hassle.

Plundering Ships
This can easily be considered as the fastest way of earning some Reales in a legitimate way. Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag never runs out of ships which indirectly means that you should never run out of cash. The ocean is always swarming with ships, take on these ships and get useful items and Reales.

However, you need to have a look at the level of the ship you plan on taking on.

Buried Treasure Chests
Each area has some Treasure Maps which lead you to buried Treasure Chests. These chests are different from the ordinary chests and the rewards are promising. There are a total of 22 Buried Treasure Chests in the game which can give you upto 1,500 Reales.

Check out our Buried Treasures Locations Guide to find these chests.

Hunting & Harpooning
Just like the ships, animals are renewable resource in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black; the game never runs out of both land and oceanic animals. You can hunt and harpoon these animals to get their hides and bones and then sell them to local merchant to get cash.

Alternatively, you can also use these items to craft different upgrades and outfits. Check out our Hunting and Harpooning Guide to know the locations where you would be able to find these animals.

Legendary Ships
In addition to ordinary ships, the game offers 4 Legendary Ships that you would be able to defeat to get 20,000 to 30,000 Reales each. However, these ships are to be taken seriously and you shouldn’t take them casually if you don’t wish to die a painful death.

Check out our Legendary Ships Battle Guide for more information on these ships.
