The Witcher 3 Gwent Cards Locations Guide

Every unique Gwent card in the game, yours for the taking.

Collecting Gwent Cards in The Witcher 3 is not an easy task as it will require its fair share of exploration, winning Gwent matches, and finding the right vendors to buy them in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As such, there are a total of 199 Gwent Cards that you can discover and collect in just the base game alone.

Most of these can be purchased by visiting various NPC vendors, Merchants, etc., but in order to get the rest of the Gwent cards, you will need to get proficiency in terms of winning those Gwent games at different locations in TW3.

Aside from some Gwent opponents who appear near the beginning of the game, seasoned players can only be defeated with strong cards in their decks. You should spend your time collecting all the Gwent cards to unlock the Card Collector achievement. Luckily, the cards added by TW3 expansions aren’t required for the achievement.

FYI

Indulging yourself in mini-games such as Gwent can also turn out to be an excellent source of quick cash in The Witcher 3.
