Dragon Age 2 Demo Walkthrough

Dragon Age 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed roleplaying game by Bioware marks its return with visually stunning graphics, enhanced gameplay and more engaging story. The demo features 2 chapters which are more than sufficient for you to decide whether you are buying this game or not. Lets get things started for the demo.

Dragon Age 2 Walkthrough Guide

Introduction
Just to set things up, there is a small intro at the beginning. After a short dialogue, you will be redirected straight to the battle where you will learn the basics. Follow the on screen instructions and kill all the enemies that attack you. After the first wave of enemies, you will make your first choice, whether the male character should face them or the female. It also depends on the initial choice of your character (either a male or a female).

Deal with that big fat org which will appear at the end to wrap things up for the intro. Since It’s a tutorial to get things started for you, it won’t present you any trouble.

Chapter 1

After the initial cutscene and a couple of dialogues, head to the dead body lying nearby. At the top right corner of your screen is the minimap that will act as a guide to terrain. Move forward and after a few steps, your first encounter with the Hurlocks will begin. During battle you can switch between the “warrior” or the “mage” and use their abilities.

After you are done with the first wave of enemies, the upgrade system of the game will be revealed. Choose the abilities that suit your playing style. Don’t forget to loot nearby bodies.

After a small cutscene, comes another wave of enemies. This wave won’t last long followed by a cutscene. You can upgrade other characters this time. If you choose to protect character’s sister, then you will get 15 friendship points.

Continue South East, and you will run into another wave of enemies. Collect those arches on the ledge and take the U turn. Keep on moving forward till you encounter another wave of enemies. Things will start getting a bit tougher starting now. Make sure that you use the healing potions to heal yourself and other characters. After looting the chest (south west), continue left till the cutscene.

Character’s brother or sister (if it’s a mage) will die in this cutscene. After the cutscene another battle awaits. A dragon will come to save you from the trouble. One last cutscene to conclude this chapter.

Chapter 2

First cutscene leads to a battle. Make sure you upgrade both your and other characters abilities to have the advantage. Importance of these upgrades might not be evident in the demo, but in game this will surely make a big difference.

Follow Isablela (who is headed west) to another battle. After the battle, a cutscene will play which will conclude this chapter.
