Star Wars: Battlefront 2 Star Cards

Default cards are fine when starting out, but as you progress further through the ladder, you are going to want to mix it up a little by using different cards at your disposal; they are a great way of maximizing your efficiency.

Card Level
Your card level determines how many cards you can equip. As you collect more cards and more specifically more rare cards, your Card Level increases allowing you to equip cards that are more powerful and a greater number of cards as well.

Every unit, ship, and heroes have their own unique cards so once you have a higher Card Level, you can equip that class’s unique cards according to your gameplay style.

The most a Card Level allows at maximum is to allow you to equip three cards for that class. Initially, you only get one slot, with the second unlocking at Card Level Five while the third slot is unlocked at Card Level Ten.

The Card Level increases no matter which class you play with. It increases as you receive new and rarer cards. Make sure you keep collecting more and more cards so that you can use more cards by unlocking slots.

Star Cards
Star Cards are divided into two categories. You can equip Boost cards and Ability cards.

Boost Cards
With Boost cards, you do not have to compromise on anything as they only increase on or two basic abilities of your class.

Ability Cards
The second category of Star Cards is the Ability Cards. These cards switch out one or more abilities and replace them with another one.

Using these cards, you will have to compromise on one ability for the sake of another ability. These could be switching weapons or grenades from one type to another.
