Pokemon Sword and Shield Berries, Berry Farming Guide

Berries are essential for not only your Pokemon but also the curries you can make in Pokemon Sword and Shield so collect them with this guide

Berries are the consumable items found in the Glar Region of Sword and Shield. Berries are used in combats and are also an essential item to make your curry. Berries decide the flavor of your curry. In this Pokemon Sword and Shield Berries guide, we will tell you the best ways to farm berries as well as berry farming locations in Pokemon Sword and Shield.

Pokemon Sword and Shield Berries

You can obtain berries from various areas in the Galar Region. You will find them on the berry trees, which are easily located due to the berries hanging on them. Shake the trees and you can get the berries.

There are chances that a Pokemon might fall from the tree while you are shaking it and this is going to start a battle. The Pokemon might take the berries and run off.

Every time you shake the tree, it is going to shake for a moment longer. Shake the tree until the notification is popping up to shake it and the berries will keep falling.

To detect the fall of a Pokemon, you will start noticing that the tree is shaking after every moment. This means that the Pokemon is about to fall so stop shaking the tree and pick up all the fallen berries.

There are different ways to farm the berries.

As you progress in the game you are going to receive your Rotom Bicycle. Use your Rotom Bicycle to go to Hammerlocke and Motostroke and find the berry trees there.

You can use the cycle to move around and collect the berries. The area you are collecting the berries from is going to respawn the berries after one day so you can come again to collect them.

If you go to areas that are not that easy to reach and find berry trees there, then you are going to get more rare berries from those trees.

Again, you are going to use your Rotom Bicycle to reach these locations. An upgrade in your Bicycle is going to help you ride it through the water as well.

Every tree spawns a different amount of berries from them. Once you start shaking the berry tree, a different amount of berries fall from each tree. You would know when to stop as the notification of ‘Shake’ won’t pop up anymore.

Another method to farm the berries is to participate in the Max Raid Battles. Here you have to enter the dens and fight Dynamax Pokemon in order to get the berries after completion.

It is not guaranteed that you are going to receive berries after the battle and even if you do, the amount won’t be much.
