Dancer of Ranah is an optional boss in Elden Ring. She was introduced with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC and serves as a guardian in one of the nameless mausoleums. Adorned in a red dress, this dancer is a follower of the fallen flame god.
In this guide, we will tell you how to locate the Dancer of Ranah in Elden Ring and how you can defeat her to obtain one of the best curved swords in the game.
Dancer of Ranah Location in Elden Ring

Dancer of Ranah can be found inside the Southern Nameless Mausoleum. This mausoleum can be found on an isolated island, west of the Cerulean Coast.
To reach the Western nameless Mausoleum in Elden Ring, you must start from the Cerulean Coast site of grace. Travel through the field and travel to the west shore.

You will notice a small island in the distance with no means of reaching it. There is a dead tree on the western shore of Cerulean Coast, right opposite the island in the distance.

Look down and drop carefully near the dead tree to reach a small ledge. Turn back to find a small opening beneath the tree. Jump inside the opening to enter a cave.

This cave has branching paths, but we recommend that you keep on the western path according to the map. Keep going through the cave until you come out on the other side. There is a single massive structure on this island called the Southern Nameless Mausoleum.
That is where the phantom of the Dancer of Ranah resides.
Dancer of Ranah Stats and Weaknesses
Dancer of Ranah has 14,046 HP with 10 Poise. She also uses Flask of Cerulean Tears midway through the battle.
You can parry her attacks, followed by a critical hit. Dancer of Ranah is weaker to Strike and Pierce attacks, but she is strong against fire.
This boss is also susceptible to Sleep and Madness, but the requirement is quite high (699). She also has good resistance against other elemental attacks.
Best Stats for Dancer of Ranah Boss
Dancer of Ranah is not a difficult boss and can be handled with heavy jump attacks. Still we recommend level 150 character with at least level 8 Scadutree Blessings.
A greatsword like Starscourge Greatsword or Malekith’s Black Blade is essential for this fight. Distribute your points mostly in Strength or Dexterity, depending on how good your weapon scales with each.
For Talisman, the Two-Headed Green Turtle Talisman for stamina recovery and the Claw Talisman to increase jump attacks are important. You can choose Great Jar’s Arsenal to decrease your equip load.
Make sure to have enough Cerulean Flasks, as some attacks of this boss can be really devastating in nature.
How to Defeat the Dancer of Rannah
Dancer of Ranah has three basic attacks in Elden Ring. Her most basic attack is the spinning attack, where she spins and deals multiple hits to the players.

This attack can be blocked or dodged backwards easily. If you move too far away, she will run towards you and jump to do a slam attack at your location. Use this to bait her and dodge backwards.

Jump towards her as she lands on the ground and deal her a massive slam attack. Dancer of Ranah occasionally does a fire AoE attack, where she summons large waves of fire around her.
This is her most devastating attack and can seriously hurt you. Make sure to dodge backwards multiple times as soon as you see this attack coming.
Once you understand all the attacks, the fight is all but won. However, in the middle of the battle, Dancer of Ranah uses the Flask of Cerulean Tears to heal herself. The amount gained by her is not that much, so ignore her.
Keep chipping away at her until you manage to kill her.
Dancer of Ranah Rewards and Drops
Dancer of Ranah drops 80,000 Runes as a reward in addition to the Dancing Blade of Ranah and Dancer’s Set.

Dancing Blade of Ranah is one of the most broken weapons in the Eden Ring, which can be used to craft a deadly Dexterity build.
