Your choice of Armor in Horizon Zero Dawn might mean the difference between life and death when facing an especially tough enemy. In this guide, we will help you outfit Aloy with the best armor possible for any given situation, or just help you collect all the armor available in game.
Apart from this, these armor sets have the built-in defense against certain damage types. For instance, Nora Protector Outfit increases physical damage defense by +30. Due to this, I recommend collecting all these armor sets and using them in appropriate situations.

This Kestrel armor provides excellent defense against blinding and sonic attacks. It has three modification slots and requires 680 Metal Shards along with a Stalker Heart.

This is easily one of the best armor in Horizon Zero Dawn which makes you immune to all damage for a short duration of time. The armor has a strong energy shield which absorbs all the incoming damage for a short duration of time. The armor needs a little recharging time but it’s nothing when compared to its benefits.
In order to get the Shield-Weaver Outfit, you need to find 5 Power Cells and complete a quest called the Ancient Armory. You can find all the 5 Power Cells using our Power Cells Locations Guide and complete the quest using our Side Quests Guide.
