Cyberpunk 2077 is Really Big, Says CD Projekt Red in a Special Message

CD Projekt Red, as always is active on Twitter and in a recent Tweet, the team thanked all the fans and talked about Cyberpunk 2077 by calling it a “really big game”. The team celebrated its 2077th tweet with a thank you note for all the support and feedback from the fans.

The special message contained some tidbits about the game to keep us waiting for the game. The developer started by talking about staying in touch with the community, listening to the feedback and how it allows the team to deliver an experience that you were expecting.

Here’s what the team had to say:

Normally we’d be in character, sending you funny gifs or pics of cybercats, but this time around,we wanted to say something off brand. Each day we’re here with you guys – celebrating Cyberpunk, sharing news, making new friends, and giving you studio insider info.

Staying directly in touch with means we can better understand who you are and what you like about video games (including this particular one),” the message reads. “This, in turn, enables us to talk with the dev team (which also read this account daily), so they have a good picture of what you expect.

The special message then continued as CD Projekt referred to Cyberpunk 2077 as a really big game.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a really big game, but so is the task of communicating it to so many wonderful people from all around the world. These 2077 tweets have been an awesome and enlightening journey for us so far.

Unfortunately, there wasn’t any mention of when Cybperunk 2077 is coming out, despite the game being in development for years. The game being really big is apparently the cause for its development taking so long.

The game’s marketing campaign continues in 2019 and many took it as the sign for its release date reveal but that’s not the case. In the latest released “Creating Cyberpunk 2077” video by PlayStation, it’s confirmed that the game’s development is “far from over”. This tells us that the game is going to be in development for at least another year or more.

To maintain the hype, Cyberpunk 2077 will be making another appearance at upcoming E3 2019. We are expecting to hear some new interesting details about the game or maybe get to see another demonstration of the Night City through a trailer. It has been now also revealed that the upcoming game takes place 50 years after the original game and in the parallel timeline.

Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.
