In this God of War A Realm Beyond Walkthrough, we will guide you step by step on how you can clear the third chapter of the epic God of War main story or The Journey.
We would like to mention here that this walkthrough would strictly focus on the main story progression. God of War A Realm Beyond
The third chapter starts with you following the Witch back down the mountain. She leads Kratos and Atreus to Sindri’s Sky Mover and clears the vines covering it using her magic. Kratos and Atreus then ride the Sky Mover down to Sindri’s workshop with the Witch.
A brief conversation takes place during the ride down during which the Witch explains about the temple and how you can use it to travel to Alfheim.
Realign the Bridge
Once you are down, follow the Witch through the tall doors until you arrive at a place where there seems to be nothing to cross the gap up ahead.
The Witch shoots a magical arrow at the crystal to create a light bridge, which allows everyone to cross the gap.
Continue traveling back to the Tower until you arrive near the end of the bridge. Here the Witch will tell Kratos and Atreus to go down the stairs on the left and then turn right.
She will create another light bridge up ahead, which both Kratos and Atreus can use to cross the water. Ahead, she will guide on how to pick up the axle bar and fix it back in place.
Press circle to interact with it and then repeatedly press circle to realign it back in its place. After fixing it, Kratos must push it forward until the bridge moves and connects with the Alfheim Tower. Once the Witch instructs to stop, leave the axle and use the stairs to go back to her.
Once above, the Witch will open the big doors and Kratos follows her inside with Atreus. In the next room, she will create another light bridge that opens up access to the Realm Travel Room.
Before entering, she will prepare Atreus Bow with magic so that it can be infused with the Light of Alfheim later allowing him to shoot Light Arrows.
Follow her into the room and go towards the World Tree. Atreus and Kratos will be debriefed by the Witch about how it works and what will they require to make it work.
At this point, the Witch will give Kratos a Bifrost, which is a key to Realm Travel, and Kratos must charge it with Alfheim Light.
When you are in control, spin the bridge until it comes to Alfheim’s Tower. Once there, press X to switch realms and arrive at Alfheim.
Once you have switched realms successfully, go outside the doors with Atreus and the Witch where she will point towards the light coming out of a temple in the distance. This is Kratos’s and Atreus’s next destination. The Witch will be pulled back because she is bound to Midgard by the gods.
After the Witch is gone, Atreus and Kratos must make their way to the Ringed Temple. At this point, the chapter will conclude.
