AMD RX Vega 64 Outperforms The Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti In Forza 7 At All Resolutions Except 4K

AMD RX Vega 64 has disappointed many, but when it comes to Forza 7 the graphics card outperforms the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti in all benchmarks except for 4K.

While the performance of the AMD RX Vega 64 has disappointed many, it seems that when it comes to Forza 7 the graphics card outperforms the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti in all benchmarks except for 4K. It is obvious that 1080p benchmarks are not of much relevance when you consider the price point of these GPUs but it is interesting that the AMD RX Vega 64 manages to beat the Nvidia GTX 1080.

The same is the case with Forza 7 at 1440p. The AMD RX Vega 64 has a clear advantage here with the GPU delivering 115 FPS on average. The Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti came in at second position with 103 FPS. This is beyond the margin of error.

Furthermore, at 1080p even the little brother, Vega 56 manages to beat the GTX 1080 Ti and at 1440p it manages to beat the GTX 1080. At 1440p the AMD Vega 56 managed to deliver 99.2 FPS on average which is more than the 95.1 FPS that the GTX 1080 was able to deliver. While the difference is not too much here it is still interesting to see these numbers.

Forza 7 4K benchmarks reveal that both the GPUs from the Red team take a hit in performance and the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti comes back on top with an average FPS of 90.8. The AMD RX Vega 64 comes in at second place scoring 83.7 FPS on average. In the Third place, we have the GTX 1080 with 75.4 FPS.

The AMD Vega 56 is not far off with 75.3 FPS. This is within the margin of error not to mention the difference can be neglected altogether. You can check out the benchmarks below:

If you think that there was some kind of issue with the numbers then you are wrong. Nvidia has confirmed that the numbers are indeed correct, at least for the Nvidia GPUs.

Let us know what you think about the AMD RX Vega 64 and how well it competes with the Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti when it comes to Forza 7.
