In Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, Ubisoft has tried to fit in all the core elements of previous Assassin’s Creed installments in addition to some new features that complement both the main protagonist, Edward Kenway and the era in which the game takes place. And it is good to see that their efforts are fruitful!
When we talk about previous Assassin Creed installments, one of the most enjoyable aspect that comes to our mind is building and upgrading towns. And although as a pirate, you will no longer be able to do that, but you certainly get to design your hide-out.

Assassin’s Creed 4 Black Flag Hideout Upgrades
Like Jackdaw and Edward Kenway himself, upgrading Hide-out unlock certain features which add to the overall fun factor of the game. However, upgrading it quite pricy and in honest advice; you should consider upgrading Jackdaw or Edward first. Upgrading your Hide-out also unlocks the FTFY trophy or achievement.
Below, you will find a list of all available upgrades for your Hide-out:

Campfire
This upgrade allows you to hire Drunk Pirates to travel with you and start those baseless fights with the guards to get you a quick escape. It costs 7,000 Reales.
General Store
By paying 700 Reales, you will get a General Store at the Pier.
Harbormaster
