The Flooded Vault is the sixth tomb that can be raided by Lara in the new Tomb Raider.
The tomb is located in the Shipwreck Beach area. While trying to reach the Endurance Wreck, you should come across the tomb entrance, guarded by two Solarii.
As the name suggests, the tomb is flooded with water. The bad part is that if Lara touches the water, she’ll instantly die, since it has electricity running through it. Thus, it’s important to be careful in this place.
Requirements: You’ll need your Fire Arrows, Rope Arrows, and the Climbing Axe to get through the tomb.
The Flooded Vault Walkthrough
Again, there’s a linear path with some salvage in the way. You’ll eventually area in a small room with the day camp. Go up the stairs, and engage the switch. The power’s still on. Go back down the stairs, and engage the switch there.
The large room with the current-filled water will be revealed. Go to the right, and you’ll find broken wall covered with wooden planks. Shoot of the planks with your shotgun, and follow ahead to go behind where the wooden planks were.
Use your rope arrows to pull the platform on the water. Carefully jump on it, and then jump again to get around the corner. Now, look up and you should see a wooden plank which you can pull down with your rope arrow. Do so, and you’ll notice that the light submerged in the water is short-circuited, and is causing the problem.
The wooden plank will go back up very quickly, so you have to be quick and run through the water to the place ahead after pulling it down. Make sure you get this right, or you will die if the light gets submerged again.
Now, from this area, pull that platform on the water towards yourself. Raise the submerged light, and pull the platform under it so that it lands on the platform instead of going into the water again. Get into the water, and go up the stairs at the end.
You should find the treasure chest sitting there, waiting to be opened.
