Pokemon Go evolution not only makes your Pokemon more potent but is also one of the most efficient ways of Power Levelling in the game. As progressing a little through the game – around Trainer Level 5 – you will notice that relying on Starter Pokemon is not a good approach and will be forced to carry out Pokemon Go evolution.
Each Pokemon in Pokemon Go requires a specific amount of candies to evolve which themselves need to be collected by the player. In this Pokemon Go Evolution guide, we will list the number of candies required for Pokemon to evolve so that they may become more powerful.

Pokemon Go Evolution Guide
Our Pokemon Go evolution guide is all about evolution requirements and detailing exactly how much Candy you need in order to carry out a successful Pokemon evolution in Pokemon Go.
If you check your Pokedex, you will notice two options under a Pokemon – Power Up and Evolution. Pokemon Go evolution can change a Pokemon’s species, provide it with a completely new moveset, and enhance its stats.
It is carried out by an item called Candy. Candy is acquired by capturing Pokemon and hatching Pokemon Eggs. It does not matter if you get duplicates, you will always receive Candy.
Moreover, you can also trade in a duplicate Pokemon with Professor Willow in order to get Candy. One thing to note about Candy is that it is Pokemon-specific. For instance, capturing, hatching or trading Caterpie will always yield Caterpie-Candy which you will only be able to use to evolve Caterpie.
There are quite a few ways of farming Candy such as using Incense or Lure Modules in order to get your hands on more Pokemon and thus more Candy.
Now that we have basics out of the way, let us discuss how much Candy each and every Pokemon in the game requires to successfully undergo Pokemon Go evolution.
