Hours of gameplay and long journey deserves an epic ending in games like Mass Effect 3, and the game delivers just that to the fans. This Mass Effect 3 Endings guide covers all 16 different endings to the game.

Ending of course will depend on the choices you will make at the end and your final readiness rating. Your morality doesn’t really affect the ending of the game.

Mass Effect 3 Endings

Caution (Spoilers Alert): It is highly recommended that you don’t go past this point if you haven’t finished the game. Read past this point only if you are doing your second play-through.

Following are the possible endings of Mass Effect 3:

Collector Base Was Saved – Mass Effect 2 Character Import

Final Ending is subjected to whether you import your Mass Effect 2 save file. If you import, you will have collector base saved, and you will experience one of eight different endings below:

Ending #1 (Readiness Rating < 1,750 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers, or control the Reapers, but regardless of your choice Earth is destroyed.

Ending #2 (Readiness Rating = 1,750 points)
You can choose to Save the Reapers and the Earth will be saved.

Ending #3 (Readiness Rating = 2,050 points)
You can choose to control the Reapers, and Earth is saved.

Ending #4 (Readiness Rating = 2,350 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers and save Earth, but it is ruined.

Ending #5 (Readiness Rating = 2,650 points)
You can destroy the Reapers and save Earth.

Ending #6 (Readiness Rating = 2,800 points)
You can choose the Synergy Ending for synthetics and organics saving the planet Earth, and the rest of Galaxy.

Ending #7 (Readiness Rating = 4,000 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers, save Anderson and Shepard lives.

Ending #8 (Readiness Rating = 5,000 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers, may save Anderson but if you aren’t, Shepard lives.

Collector Base Destroyed – No Character Import

If you haven’t imported your character from Mass Effect 2, you will have collector base destroyed, and you will experience one of the eight different endings below:

Ending #1 (Readiness Rating < 1,750 points)
Earth is destroyed. You can still choose to control the Reapers, or destroy them.

Ending #2 (Readiness Rating = 1,750 points)
You can choose to control the Reapers, but Earth is still destroyed.

Ending #3 (Readiness Rating = 1,900 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers and save Earth, but it will be ruined.

Ending #4 (Readiness Rating = 2,350 points)
You can choose to control the Reapers and save Earth.

Ending #5 (Readiness Rating = 2,650 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers and Earth will be saved.

Ending #6 (Readiness Rating = 2,800 points)
You can choose the Synergy Ending for organics and synthetics to save Earth and rest of the Galaxy.

Ending #7 (Readiness Rating = 4,000 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers, can save ‘Anderson’ and Shepard lives.

Ending #8 (Readiness Rating = 5,000 points)
You can choose to destroy the Reapers, and even if you don’t save ‘Anderson’, Shepard will live.
