In The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link can participate in multiple minigames including snowboarding, gold, etc. These give Link a chance to earn multiple rewards and take a break from main quests.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Minigames

Boom Bam Golf
Location: Near Tabantha Great Bridge
In order to start playing, you need to equip an Iron Sledgehammer and pay 20 rupees to Modar. You need to use Statis on the large ball and then hit it with the hammer.
You need to try and keep the ball from rolling off. It goes without saying that you need to hit it hard if you wish to cover long distances and vice versa. Alternatively, you can also use weak weapons for short durations.
You need to stay under 20 strokes in order to get your money back and complete it in less strokes to earn rewards.
Snowboarding
Location: Hebra Mountain
Get to the top of the Hebra Mountain Summit and talk to Selmi there. Pay her 20 rupees to partake in Snowboarding.
Link can snowboard using his shield. While doing this, you can fire arrows but do note that doing so can break your shield.
Bird-Man Research Study
Location: Ridgeland Tower
Talk to Branli on top of the Ridgeland Tower to assist him with him study. Use Revali’s Gale for extra altitude then paraglide as far as you can to earn the 100 rupees reward. Each attempt costs 20 rupees.
Deer Hunting
Location: Hateno Village
Talk to Danz in a forest shack in the south part of the village. You’ll get one minute to kill as many deer as you can. Use your bow and arrow to hunt.
Sand-Seal Racing
Location: Sand-Seal Rally
You’ll find the Sand-Seal Rally in Gerudo Wasteland south of the Greudo Town. Once there talk to Shabonne to get the challenge. Steer the seal through the checkpoints and complete the rally in under the record time to get the reward. – Steer the seal, not Link Flight Range Trial
Flight Range Trial
Location: Flight Range
Talk to Tulin at the Flight Range after you’ve met his father at his house. You must hit all targets while falling off the cliff to complete the mini-game. Keep aiming to slow down the time and use multi-shot to easily get your targets. Open the glider when you want to go up.
Footrace
Location: Foot Race Check-in
The Check-in is near Komba’s camp, talk to him to start the race. You must run on foot and not call a horse but the trick is to use whistle while sprinting, it restores your stamina. Run straight up instead of following the track to get the best time.
Blue Flame
Location: East Akkala Stable
Talk to Aya sitting outside the stable. She’ll ask you to bring a blue flame to light her lantern. Take a horse to the nearest blue flame and keep a torch with you to bring the flame. Do it in under 3 minutes to earn the reward.
Gambling
Location: Lurelin Village
Talk to Cloyne in a house in the northeast corner of the village. Here, you must wager 100 rupees on one of three chest that he shows you. One of them contains worthy treasure while other two will cause you to lose your money. Save before you play to reload if you lose.
Mounted Archery Challenge
Location: Mounted Archery Camp
To start the mini-game, talk to Jini sitting at the entrance of the camp while riding a horse. For ease, use multi-shot bow and bomb arrows to hit multiple targets at once. The Royal White Stallion is better owing to its good control.
Mounted Obstacle Course
Location: Highland Stable
Talk to Blynne near the cooking pot and pay him 20 rupees to start the obstacle course. Use the Royal White Stallion, it has the best control and do not gallop until you have completed all obstacles. Complete it to get horse gear as reward.
Ice Delivery
Location: Northern Icehouse
Its in the north of Gerudo town. Use Sand Boots to run on the sand and get done quickly.
Paraglider Course
Location: Eventide Island
Speak with Memo at the Flight Range to trigger the mini-game. You must pass through all the ring while gliding. Merely touching a ring from the inside will clear it. You can move backward if you miss a ring and do it. Use you bow’s aim for having a slow-motion effect if you’re having difficulty doing it.
Snowball Bowling
Location: Pondo’s Lodge
The Pondo’s Lodge is just north-east of the Hebra Tower. Talk to Pondo there to have a shot at Snowballing for 20 rupees. To make a perfect shot, there’s a trick, you must position Link so that the rightmost pin aligns with the middle of Link’s legs. Maneuver the view to get this position and throw the ball for a perfect score and the greatest reward.
Super Gut Check Challenge
Location: Gut Check Rock
It fairly simple, you need to get to the top of the Gut Check Rock in under three minutes to earn 300 rupees. Use the wind flow to your advantage and deploy the glider when needed. You’ll need an upgraded stamina wheel
