For this quest, you will have to go and meet Ellie’s parents when you have the time and you are in the area. This guide will tell you all that you need to know to complete The Low Crusade quest in The Outer Worlds.

The Outer Worlds The Low Crusade

You should’ve completed Worst Contact and have recruited Ellie. You will start this quest once you speak to her on The Unreliable after you have traveled to Byzantium.

You will have to go Fenhill Estate and talk to Ellie’s parents. You will get to know that they have cashed in on the insurance policy of Ellie by making up a crazy story and they want her to go away as it can cost them their wealth and you will get 12,240 XP as a reward.

Upon speaking with Ellie she will start making a plan for stealing her parent’s money. Upon helping her you will get another 12,240 XP.

You will have to go to Greater Halycon Insurance Group and examine their mailbox which is present there by two guards in Prosperity plaza. This is across Auntie Cleo’s Salon Club. After you do it the quest will be updated and you will now have to go to Fallbrook on Monarch in order to set up a dummy account.

You will now have to talk to the Insurance Agent there and ask her to change the beneficiary on Marilyn Fenhill’s life insurance policy on which she will refuse bt would give you this much information that you can change it from the terminal in the backroom. There are two more option that you can choose for this purpose:

  • Bribe her for 3800 Bits.
  • Intimidate (30) her to do it.

In case you don’t want to use both of them then you have to use good old Lockpicking (45) to get the backroom, or you can pickpocket the key off of an Insurance Agent. The same key could be used on the terminal and then you can change the beneficiary to Ellie and you will get 12,400 XP.

After doing that go back to Ellie and talk to her and you will get 1,313 Bit Cartridges and a Framed Insurance Check along with 53000 XP as quest reward.
