Resident Evil 7 Weapons Locations Guide

Finding some of these weapons can be pretty hard because they involve completion of certain puzzles or are hidden behind locked doors. However, if you are careful enough, you should be able to find most of them during your playthrough of the game.

In our Resident Evil 7 Weapons Locations Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about finding different types of weapons available in the game.

Resident Evil 7 Weapons Locations

Launchers

Grenade Launcher
In order to get your hands on the Grenade Launcher, you need to acquire the Crow Key. Once you have the Crow Key at your disposal, you need to head over to Main House 1F and proceed towards the drawing room.

Once you are in there, head inside the supply room and you should be able to find the Grenade Launcher hidden inside.

Burner
This is a homemade weapon which you need to craft in order to use it. There are basically two parts which combine to create the Burner. Both of these parts are located inside the Old House 1F.

Axes

Axe
This melee weapon is unmissable because it is acquired in the Guest House 1F during the first encounter with Mia.

Knives

Folding Knife
Once you are inside the Main House 1F, you need to head over to the alleyway located near the kitchen and receive the Folding Knife from the Sheriff’s Deputy.

Survival Knife
This one is pretty easy to find. Once you are at the Tanker Ship, you need to proceed towards the elevator and find the Survival Knife right outside it.

Shotguns

M37 Shotgun
The first thing that you need to do is to find the broken shotgun located inside a room in the Main House 2F. Once you have the weapon, you need to the main hall in the Main Hall 1F and replace the shotgun held by the statue.

M21 Shotgun
This is the shotgun that you find inside grandma’s room in the Main House 2F and is required to get the M37 shotgun. However, a little later into the game, you can find a wooden shotgun from the children’s room and use it to replace the broken M21 shotgun held by the statue.

Once done, simply use the Repair Kit to fix the broken weapon and use it to your heart’s content.

Handguns

M19 Handguns
You can find this handgun a couple of times in the game. Firstly, you can pick it up inside the Guest House 2F, inside the alleyway leading to the attic. If you, however, could not pick it up there, you can also find it as a broken weapon in the yard of the main house.

As with the broken M21 Shotgun, you can simply use a Repair Kit in order to fix the broken weapon and use it as much as you like.

G17 Handgun
This one is another easy one to find. In order to find the G17 Handgun, you need to head to the Main House 1F garage and find the weapon in there.

MPM Handgun
You basically need to head over to the Tanker Ship and find the weapon hidden inside the Save Room 1F.

Machine Guns

P19 Machine Gun
The only machine gun that we were able to find the game is located inside the Captain’s Cabin located on the fourth floor of the Tanker Ship. Once you are inside the Captain’s Cabin, unlock the locker inside in order get your hands on the weapon.

Do note that you will require a key in order to unlock the locker found inside the Captain’s Cabin.
