In a time when AAA games use multiple developers for single tasks, Days Gone is using just one writer for its story. The narrative-driven PS4 exclusive is currently under development at Sony Bend and a plethora of developers are working on it.

However, when it comes to the story, only a single writer is working on the title. Speaking in a recent interview, John Garvin and Jeff Ross, stated that only one writer is working on Days Gone.

It is an odd thing to hear as normally AAA titles use multiple story writers. Days Gone has been in development for a while now and only now we are getting to know more about this title.

Since E3 2018 is right around the corner we can expect an in-depth look at Days Gone. In fact, Sony has confirmed the game’s presence at E3. According to Sony’s Shawn Layden, there are four major games the company plans to discuss in detail and one of them is Days Gone.

While some may consider Days Gone to just another zombie game, the developers do not want people to consider it that way. They are making something more than just a zombie game but everything is a marketing pitch until we actually get to play the game.

Speaking of Zombie games, The Last of Us II is also going to be present at E3. The news broke hours before the company officially announced the game’s E3 presence.
