Monster Hunter World PC Destroys The PS4 Version In Loading Time

Monster Hunter World PC is coming out soon and there is a lot of excitement in the PC community regarding the release of the game. While the game has a very high requirement and even the GTX 1080 is unable to run the game at 60 FPS at 1440p with all settings maxed out, it seems that the loading times on PC is much better as compared to PS4.

Monster Hunter World PC destroys the PS4 version when it comes to loading time and you can see in the video provided below that the PS4 version takes ages. On the PC version, the player is able to climb a couple of stairs, order food, eat the meal and stand around for a while before the PS4 version is able to load.

This could point towards Monster Hunter World PC optimization but we do not want to make claims before we can play the game for ourselves. You can check out the video below:

The game will have DRM and some might be concerned regarding the matter but that is something that we are not sure about right now and we will just have to wait and see whether or not Denuvo will have an impact on the game. Talking about Denuvo, the famous cracker that enabled piracy for millions around the world has been could and pirate might not be able to crack future games anymore.

People are also concerned regarding the content updates and it is unlikely that consoles and Monster Hunter World PC will get content updates at the same time. Monster Hunter World producer Ryozo Tsujimoto had to say the following in this regard:

I want to synch these up as much as possible, but as mentioned previously regarding title updates, the differences in versions between platforms may prevent them being completely the same time. [Balance patches] will be a case-by-case situation. If we find bugs that are happening only on PC for example, or issues arising after a title update, then we would put patches out on each platform as soon as possible. If there was an issue common to all platforms, however, doing it piecemeal would be less preferable than fixing every version at the same time so that everyone has the same experience.

Let us know what you think about Monster Hunter World PC and whether or not you are interested in playing the game when it comes out next month.
