H1Z1 PS4 Has Been Downloaded For 1.5 Million Times In Just 24 Hours

H1Z1 PS4 beta is finally live and Daybreak studio has revealed that the game was downloaded by more than 1.5 million players in 24 hours.

It’s been two days since H1Z1 launched on PS4 and it looks like people were waiting for H1Z1 PS4 as it was downloaded by more than 1.5 million players on the first day and had 200,000 concurrent players online.

It shouldn’t come as surprise as the game is famously known for its performance on PC and now has made its way to console by being downloaded by 1.5 million players in its first 24 hours which is a big achievement for Daybreak studios. It was also reported that the game had 200,000 concurrent players online yesterday which might have been more if there weren’t so many server issues.

Along the Tweet came another confirmation that they are committed and are working on resolving server issues, login, and purchase issues.

As for the game, I myself tried to play the game exactly when the servers became available and after playing two matches I got disconnected and was not able to reconnect to the servers which still the same case as I tried to play it recently.

H1z1 PS4 is specially designed for the PlayStation system by adding more weapons and a completely new interface. Combat Training, Solos, Duos, and Fives are the modes currently available to play on H1Z1 PS4 and there is no support for mouse or keyboard yet.

Terrace Yee commented on the H1Z1 for the console by saying:

“H1Z1 on PS4 is true battle royale mayhem. We have reimagined the game for PlayStation 4 and have designed it to accentuate the essentials of battle royale that make the genre so exciting to watch and play. We have added key gameplay differentiators to keep the game frantic and fun — an action shooter’s dream of fast-paced battle royale.”
