Darksiders 3 Devs Confirm Fury Will Not Cross Death Or War

In a recent interview, he talked about how Fury will not cross paths with Death or War, while on her journey in Darksiders 3.

Darksiders 3 is the next game in the franchise and it is a long awaited one. We recently saw a trailer in which we saw Fury interacting with War in Death. They seemed to be working together. Now, however, it seems that is not going to be the case.

Reinhard Pollice Product Development Director at THQ Nordic talked about the upcoming game. In a recent interview, he talked about how Fury will not cross paths with Death or War, while on her journey. This is interesting because in one of the trailers of the game we see Fury talking to War when he is bound in chains.

Reinhard explained that War is still locked in chains and that Death is on his quest to prove that War is innocent. This might be a bummer for some fans that were waiting for a reunion of sorts but it is possible that the devs are not telling us the truth so that such a moment in the game is not spoiled.

I am a huge Darksiders fan, and I for one would not want to hear about such a moment in the game before I play it myself. Reinhard also mentioned that as of right now, the team has not decided what the next game is going to be about.

While it would make sense for the next game to be based on Strife, the developer admits to that. Reinhard mentions that the team does not want to do repeat what is already out there and that the next Darksiders game should have something different.

I for one would play the game for the story alone and to check out what awesome stuff Strife has to offer. But that could just be me and other people might feel differently regarding the matter. I think that we should be able to learn more about Strife once Darksiders 3 is out.

Furthermore, we know that the game will not take advantage of the horsepower that the Xbox One X has to offer due to the limitations of the base model.

Let us know what you think about Darksiders 3 and whether or not you want Fury to cross paths with other horsemen.
