Monster Hunter: World Decorations Farming Guide – How to Farm Jewels

In our Monster Hunter: World Decorations Farming Guide, we have detailed everything you need to know about farming Jewels and Decorations in MHW.

Monster Hunter: World has a lot going in the way of its customization freedom and options. Every build is different and useful in its own right, allowing you to take different approaches to the many monsters. At the heart of these builds, is the use of the many enhancing items like Charms, Mantles, and Decorations. We will be discussing one of those aspects below, Decorations AKA Jewels and how do they exactly work in Monster Hunter: World.

Monster Hunter: World Decorations

Decorations or Jewels are special items in MHW that can be equipped on Weapons, Armors, or just normal Skills to enhance their capabilities.

These range from increasing damage potential to boosting resistance against certain enemy types or attacks.

Decorations and Jewels in Monster Hunter: World come with a level ranging from level 1 to level 3. These levels dictate which slots on the weapon they can fit in. For example, if you have a level 2 jewel/decoration, you can only fit it in a slot that has a space of two empty triangles.

The amount of triangles and the level of decoration corresponds and lets you determine which slots on weapons can accommodate which jewels.

Additionally, each gem has a rarity that lies from a numerical value of 5 to 8 with the latter being more viable but also harder to earn.

The most consistent method or at least the most effective one remains that by earning Feystones (a kind of jewel) as quest rewards.

We are talking about hunting Lavasioths in “The Name’s Lavasioth” Event Quest. Keep grinding and farming these, for a healthy amount of Feystones decorations.

Now for the Holy Grail, the table below compiles all the known Decorations in Monster Hunter: World along with their level, rarity, and effects.
